Dear friends,
In a discussion about Shekhawati polyyarns in money control, one of the boarders has opined that this will be subscribed at least 10 times and anybody who applies full form will be able to get about 650 shares. The GMP is around Rs.10. So the return is a minimum of 6500 per application as per that calculation. Not bad.

45. Nitin Pai,
The Govt. will be very very happy to have you to manage SAIL FPO.
We, who have shorted SAIL Jan futures are going to burn our fingers by having minimum 10K profit.

I feel those who have shorted SAIL at 194 are going to burn their fingers. Look at how commodity prices are moving up. The market is really oversold and in the month of Jan Markets will move up 10% atleast. Sail is going to conquer its recent high of 228 with ease. FPO wont be priced at less than Rs 205. Square off before it is too late!

@All,

I have seen many comments in Chittorgarh boards about one making multiple IPO applications successfully. Can anyone please tell me how it can be done ? Is it legal ?

Thanks.

Ravi, Banglalore,
Yesterday on seeing Koutons come out of the circuit, I sold the 100 I held. Today I bought 50 in a staggered manner at lower rates and I dropped my idea of buying another 50 at a still lower rate, as it went to lower circuit. I will see what happens tomorrow before buying another 50.
Having said that, it is bewildering to see it to jump from one circuit to another so soon.

Dear Sreedhar,
SAIL FPO will happen in early February says money control. Is it then time to cash in on our SAIL January futures and short February futures at an appropriate moment?

From 30th Dec.onwards the share market will go up. Uptill then the same present trend in the market will continue so do not short sell unless you find that a particular stock has come down reasonably. If after 30th Dec. the share market do not reach a new high but it will definately go up and won't go down. IT IS FOR SURE.

Dear Sreedhar,
If the FPO comes as per our expectation and the allotment is over by Jan expiry, it is a very very cool strategy.

CIL production to fall short of target by 16 MT in FY11
Press Trust of India / New Delhi December 23, 2010, 18:17 IST

Coal India today said its production will fall short of target by 16 million tonnes this fiscal and may miss the expected output by 39 million tonnes in 2011-12 due to extension of tough environmental norms.

"Comprehensive Environmental Pollution Index (CEPI) was supposed to be reviewed in October, but it has been extended till March.
As a result, we clearly estimate an impact of 16 million tonnes reduction this year (on production)," Coal India Chairman Partha Bhattacharya told reporters here on the sidelines of a Parliamentary Standing Committee meeting.

He added that "if it continues in 2012, then it will affect additional 39 million tonnes, which means it will take away the growth process (of Coal India)".

Coal India has set a production target of 260.5 MT in 2010-11 and it has planned to produce 486.5 MT of coal in 2011-12.

In 2009, the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) had introduced the CEPI to categorise the environmental quality at given locations and conducted a nation-wide assessment of industrial clusters.

In a notification on January 13, the MoEF had imposed a temporary moratorium on development projects in 43 clusters labeled critically polluted as they had a CEPI score of more than 70.

In a circular on October 26, the MOEF further extended the moratorium considering projects located in critically polluted areas or industrial clusters for environment clearance (EC) till March 31, 2011.

"We have taken up this matter with the MOEF... This pollution index is basically on account of release of toxic wastes mostly. We have seen that score (in coal bearing areas) is much less than CEPI's score of 70," Bhattacharya said.

He further said that "mining activity does not relate to release of toxic wastes", adding that "you allow us coal mining but ensure that coal is not consumed in that area because those areas are critically polluted.

If this dispensation is available, then we should be back on track next year. It is a question of priority."

Seven coalfields Chandrapur, Korba, Dhanbad, Talcher, Singrauli, Asansol and IB Valley of Orissa, fall under the 43 clusters, where the temporary moratorium on developing projects have been imposed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the story of coal India.CMD says if these environmental norms continue till 2012 then Coal India will not grow till 2012 so folks think about it.I have said several times above 330 Coal India is a screaming sell.

Hi Sreedhar,

Hope you are still holding the shares of Ravi Kumar..
Thanks a lot for applying in Ravi Kumar on my recommendation at last moment and I am sure that u will make a very cool profit on listing

Don't sell in grey market..It will give at least 50k per application of 2 lacs. Enjoy !!!

Also Now I am recommending you to apply in Shekhawati, as it's a small issue and some big punters have already started accummulating the stock from the Grey market
GMP started from 5.5-6 Rs
Now it is 8.5 to 9

It will give you a good return, Apply in full load to have good profits..Anyways I followed ur recommendations on shorting the Sail an d having a cool profit on that...Thanks for that

Dear Friends,
Congrats on making very good money in SAIL shorting futures.Remember Best IDEA to make money is through FPO & that too before FPO.I have followed the same mantra in REC,Engineers India,Powergrid,NMDC & so on.
Dear Natarajan you were asking about covering of future & I asked you to wait. Now please wait till Jan Expiry .If indeed the share is priced at 160-170.You will get the shares at 160 post discount & since this is a very big issue & since SCI has created nothing but losses for the retail investor people will be wary of applying for SCI & hence max subscription maybe around 2 times .So for 2 full applications of 2 lakh each you are assured a return of 195-160=35000 Rs,not bad.I think we may have shorted at the max possible price.
Please send me a box of whatever you like.
