sir i have applied 3 application of shankra Bulding products Ltd I have Not lloted But My sbi Account Not saw balance Till Morning What can do Any One help me
what I found everyone is worried about blocked amt not released one thing keep in yearend closing of account going on in banks and sbi in the process of amalgamation with associated banks .by Monday every amt will be released
Dear fourm members. I have applied for 2 lot from 2 demat a/c through sbi asba and no share was alloted to me. But my money is not unblocked yet. Pls let me know how long it will take to unblock my money.
Keep only one strategy apply apply apply if you don''t get allotment in one you will get in another I am applying ipo since 91 and I had never made a loss in any of the financial year
i see that there are many regular IPO investors in this forum. what is advisable? keep money to invest in IPO in which allotment is basef on luck OR invest in MF or secondary market where at least we may get something
Keep money just enough for one lot and rest of them one can invest in mutual fund. it doesn''t make much sense to make multiple applications, you have to pay demat charges per year, it doesn''t worth the efforts.
I applied for me and my daughter th'' SBI ASBA. Applications were successfully applied and app. No. given by SBI. But while tracking with karvy it display that application not found.
Did not get allotment even for applied 7 lots from 2 different pan. It is cheating.

Whether you apply for 7 lot or 1 lot .... the chances of allotment are the same .... so better apply thru maximum possible names for a single lot each to maximise your chances of allotment ....Goyal ji !
I wonder members are unnecessaryly commenting about allotment process while it is purely luck . sebi definitely watching the process otherwise.allotment got or not but I certainly thankful for the valueable advice by eagleeyeji & septaji thanks to all for giving information.
Reading through the comments I see many people hold multiple PAN and Demat accounts. Some as many as 60-70. I wonder how is that possible. And if such is the case does it not make chances of allotment for new investors (with 1 Pan, 1 Demat account) close to NIL.
