I think shalby will not give decent returns due to non participation of HNI QIB and retail investors. But in the long run i think it will some returns to the investors due to their business model.
I think Shalby listing may not be very impressive as compared to previous IPOs due to market condition and non participation of QIB,HNI and retail investors. But post listing it may give decent return in the next six months.
I had applied for Shalby IPO via ASBA. But the status is still showing "PROCESSING" and the amount is not yet blocked by the Bank. Does any other of our friend faced the same ?

If you have application number, check on below link whether your application is submitted with BSE or not http://www.bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx
The BSE Site is showing no details against the Application Number. Does that mean the application could not be submitted ?

At least for online applications, given BSE link always shows submitted application details for me, also once application submitted they send confirmation email from bse.ibbs@bseindia.com.
In case it is not showing for you then please check with bank confirmation details

Despite failure of likes of NIA, GIC, Khadim etc, retail investors are still driven by uncontrolled greed for small & ellusive listing gains.
Anyone who just says that there will be good listing gains in weaker IPOs, immediately gets 20+ likes. It also shows that huge amount of retailers money is currently awaiting to be invested. More and more, Government and weaker unscruplous companies will come to market to exploit and trap, un-suspectibg small investors to collect easy and interest free money. Suggest investing in IPO only if you find good reason to invest. Every IPO will not give listing gains. It is possible that in a single IPO you lose listing gains of 5-10 of previous IPOs
