Can anyone explain lucidly how share price of an IPO is decided?
For example, why Senco gold ipo price is rs. 301-317? Why not 400-450? I mean how exactly it has been decided?
Experts pl.

Based on P/E (Price/Earnings), peer comparison, past growth, future growth prospects, ROE and ROCE and industry average. Lead Managers will decide IPO price as per discussion with the management.

Just I have mentioned some of the important metrics.

Gross profit margin at 14.7% slightly on lower side, could be due to lower share of high value segments. Segment revenue and profitability unavailable
EBIDTA margin of 8.2% in 21-22 and 8.5% in 22-23 matches that of Kalyan Jewellers and slightly higher than Vaibhav Global
Advt & sales promotion is around 2% of sales which seems to be in line with industry
Working capital intensive with high inventory holding skewing cash flow
Despite good profits in last 2 years, cash flow from operations before tax is negative in both years.
High promoter holding post IPO
My estimate of gold price increase from 21-22 to 22-23 is 7% and company’s overall sales growth from 21-22 to 22-23 is 15%.
Based on working capital projections (31-mar-24 DSO of 4 days and receivables of Rs 72.7 cr), company estimates Rs 6600 cr revenue for 23-24.
Immaterial amount however the company has receivables of Rs 5.7 cr outstanding for more than 180 days
Relatively clean balance sheet

Will Cyient/Ideaforge money get unblocked in time to apply Senco?

Yes, it will be unblocked in private banks but not sure about SBI and CBI bank. I personally had bad experience with CBI and heard about SBI in this forum. Hopefully it will.

Use hoga ki nhi... Sir g koi Guarantees nhi h koi b sure nhi bol sakta.. Last time ikoi ipo me mere sbi me instant unblock hua tha but hdfc me dusre din....

Inventory Turnover Ratio (ITR) in the previous 3 financial yrs. is around 2.5 ( dilip davda) which is not very high; can anyone inform what is the average ITR value in this sector? Higher ITR value is always better.

Good eps but flat business share. It has a good property in chennai from which it gets rent mostly from IT companies. Had bought and sold in range of 135 to 170
Rather buy brigade would have made more money
