Apply only 1 Lot.. there is no sense to apply more than 1 lot in case if subscribe more than 1X.

No need to apply more than 1 lot in RII. the allotment will be based on lottery, and application of 1 lot or 13 lot will be treated as single lot only.

Please apply, there will be listing again. It's only that the listing premium has come down. Also, post listing, if you hold you will gain for sure. There is no way the price would fall below 755.

I am more skeptical, as the market has been in the downtrend since 3 weeks. Guess that would impact SBI listing price. Moreover the total subscription is around 16X, expected it to be near 90X or 100X.

Rahul wag. Are you uot of your mind? You think this ipo will subscribe 90x or 100×???? Its 10,000cr ipo just calculate how much money need for 90x or 100x.

@Rahul: Expected 100X in Ujjivan & CSB is Okay they were around 750Cr & 500Cr.
But SBI Card is a 10,000 Crore.
Subscribing 16 X itself is (1,60,000 Crore).
But Ujjivan 100X is (750 * 100) 75,000.

So i think this itself is a decent Subscription.. I am not an Expert. Just Calculations.

Here's what I think..
If they try allot one complete lot to an application in the SH category and then proportionally the remaining shares(which is against what's declared in RHP) they will probably have to go with lottery basis as it would be oversubscribed, this gives no space for proportionate allotment.
And tbh as per my experience with a few best brokers in India, most of them have no information about the individual ipo specific rules, they keep on spreading the same old things.

Dear Investor,

If the aggregate demand in shareholder category is less than or equal to 13,052,680 Equity Shares at or above the Offer Price, full allocation shall be made to the SBI Shareholders to the extent of their demand.



If the demand in shareholder category is greater than 13,052,680 Equity Shares at or above the Offer Price, the allocation shall be made on proportionate basis, subject to allotment of minimum lot of 19 shares. If company is not able to allot minimum lot of 19 shares, the allotment will be thru draw of lots.

Case 2. If issue is oversubscribed total 20 times in shareholder quota

2. How is the allotment done if I apply with minimum lot (i.e: Rs - 150000) (share holder quota for retailer)

@aniket thanks for the clarification.

Those who have applied 1 lot in SH have the least probability of allotment. SH is proportionate basis so higher number of lots one applies higher the probability of get more allotment. Check IcicPruLife SH basis of allotment.

Writing one more comment to share one more pathetic experience. Just hung up on a call with a very reputed broker. I had an issue with one of my application and was raising it, he said one individual can apply from only one category otherwise bids will be cancelled! I had to lecture him for 5 min :(

@aniket ji, that is right, brokers even don't know the basics of IPO rules.

@aniket one more thing, my broker has suggested all people, if they are going for 1 lot, they should go to SH category and not retail. Strange.

Apply SH 13 +RETAIL 1=RS200830

Apply 13 in retail , you will have better allocation . In this particular IPO there is no Cap on SH category and is like a mini HNI and allocation on proportional basis also subscription figures are high compared to retail. Hence Retail is best category to apply.

1 Retail + 13 SH is better option. In retail whether you apply 1 or 13 you will get 1 lot only by lottery. Buy in SH if you apply for 13 Lot there is higher probability of allotment

BSE site is having an issue.

But QIB figures are same as yesterday. So don't worry on that part.

We need to just look at NII figures today.
