Sbi card interesting facts 8081 cr ki retail bid is now highest ever in history of IPOs. Normally acche IPOs par 3000-3500cr ki hi retail bid aati hai. Isse pehle HDFC AMC IPo tha 5609 cr ki retail bid. It came at 1100 and list 1700+ par hua tha
Big fat bookies (margin traders, hni, gamblers and many more) have bought application starting 1800 high up to 4000 Lower 1200 , N number of application traded Now assuming their cost of collection somewhere around 2600 If they don't want to loss in trades on Listing day they have to open it around 950 And they can manage preopen (i say surely) So listing should 925-950 But selling pressure will come if FII or DII don't come with block deals
So many IFs and BUTs are there These are my calculations.. Just for indication
@ iponoob for fyi Shareholders Reserved Portion 1,30,52,680 NSE Cuttoff Price Bids 5a) Cut Off 85,44,718 BSE Cutoff Price Bids 5(a) RPS (Cut off) 2,18,98,374 Total Cuttoff Price Bids 3,04,43,092 Now Do the Basic Maths for cutoff price bid subscription which will come around 2.33 X ( ( (3,04,43,092 DIVIDE BY 1,30,52,680) So, This is how i come to conclusion for my calaculation.. FYI giving links for BSE Bidding data CLICK ON
For Members just for understanding i am giving my previous comments... According to NSE & BSE SBI CARDS IPO BIDDING DATA the cutoff price bids for SH Category is 2.4 x only... so don't take tension of 25 times subscription applications ( Provided You have ticked cut off price while applying in SH Category).... So, according to this calculation for 13 Lots Minimum 5 Lots allotment can be given...Lets Cross fingers for final basis of allotment..
Yeah because people don't click the bid at cut off instead the enter 755 as their bid. In RHP there is a mention that people bidding above 2 lakhs should not choose "bit at cut off" and rather bid at a price. So many in this category who have applied for above 2 Lakhs enter 755 and doesn't select "bit at cut off". Hope you got why it is this way.
You don't expect so many of them to be fools who won't bid at 755 do you?

Whoever applied 14 and more lots application they have to bid at price, for your better understanding check bids applied at price 755
@Abhijeet See the total demand graph. Bids at cut off is less than the total issue size itself. Does that mean the issue is not even subscribed 1x times at the higher price of 755?
Total Issue Size 10,02,79,411 Total Bids Received 2,25,08,84,685 Total Bids Received at Cut-off Price 9,78,56,232 No. of times issue is subscribed 22.45
As market is cracking and international markets are also in bearish mode, this ipo will list at discount. One of the reason is too much costly price band and at the time of listing there will be panic selling.
Let's make some calculation about HNIs subscription data First of all, we see some past trends of fancy IPOs HNIs subscription and total amount IRCTC 354.52X (34034CR.) HDFC AMC 195.15X (71411CR.) BANDHAN BANK 13.89X (9320CR.) AMBER ENT 519.26X (46617CR.) HUDCO 330.36X (59521CR.) Dmart 277.74X (78962CR.) RPOWER 190.02X (329586 CR.) 25% OF RPOWER HNIs (82396 CR.) Eagleye estimate for SBI Cards HNIs 59.96X (83000CR.) The highest figure till date…. So there is no one who is above 100 thousand CR. Let's make some calculation. Here I assume that HNIs will bid for 1 Lac CR. It means HNIs @72.21X. FOR HNI/NII GET 1 LOT OF 19 SHARES IF THEY HAVE MADE A BID OF 1372 SHARES (RS.10,35,860/-) & MORE Thus, the Interest cost for HNIs (@highest rate) @8% (7 Days) for each share Rs 85/- only (Fair GMP on highest subscription side and on highest bank interest for short time). RII = 34 Lac Forms = 1.509X application wise (Avarage allotment of: 12.59 shares per lot) Reject application data is suspicious, so I am not reducing it. For Retailers the costing = 12.59 X 85 = Rs. 1,070/- (Kostak) And what about Shareholder??? I am leaving them to you. You own guess about them. I cannot make estimate about their subscription. (Sorry for the faux English. TinkerbeLL)
According to our calculations it should open at least 110 points up for HNI to come to CTC . assuming they want profit so we can assume a 160 - 170 points listing if market remains stable? And around 220 + if market is positive. Around flat to -50 if market is negative ( in that case HNIs will lose more.
respected@techuser sh h catagory oversubscribed 25 times niraj apply 13 lots in it (1app of 13 lots) so his chance to get 1 lot is 1 out of 2 application (25 times/13 lots) in retail, no matter only 1lot allotted if lucky between 1.7
I guess there will be high chances to get allotment who has applied 13 lots in share holders category since its 25 times According to u, 1 out of 2 can get allotment but its not necessary that all has applied 13 lots.
As per Linkintime Q: What is meaning of proportionate allotment? Is minimum 1 lot is guaranteed or is it proportionate basis on the no of lots applied?
Ans: Allotment will be done on proportionate basis, proportionate to number of shares available for distribution and to the number of shares applied by the shareholder. Q: What are the chances of allotment If shareholders category subscribed 25 times?
Ans: If the demand in shareholder category is greater than 13,052,680 Equity Shares at or above the Offer Price, the allocation shall be made on proportionate basis, subject to allotment of minimum lot of 19 shares. If company is not able to allot minimum lot of 19 shares, the allotment will be thru draw of lots.
Experienced members kindly decode it. Is it for less than 25 lot appln allotment thru lucky draw.
