Many experts stated on this forum that allotment methodology for shareholder category is same as that for NII category. If so both categories should subscribe similar number of times eg if one category is subscribed 30 times then another category should subscribe say between 28 to 32 times. Why so much of difference? NII category is subscribed 45 times while shareholder category is subscribed only 25 times. I assume other category means shareholder.

To avoid Margin Calls. If SH quota does not get enough subscriptions then many SH might get allotment more then Margin Amount deposited which would result in Margin Calls.

I recall withdrawing from an IPO several years back ( 3-4 years ago)
Can it be done nowadays.
I think even at that time, applications were out through ASBA.
I quick reading/ search of the RHP did not yield any result.
As a legal principle, any request for withdrawal must be allowed before the actual allotment.
Any person familiar with this and have done it in the recent past may pls advise.
( Have also written on email seeking clarification from the company as per email provided in the RHP).
I am sure if the mkt falls by 1000 pts on sensex on Monday, it might not be a bad idea to withdraw the applications

As depositor amount is 2.42 lakh cr. as per last balance sheet.

Ab panic hua share 35 sa 5 hua.

And very next day news ati ha reconstruction ki.

Kya gov. khud short thi yes bank ma ?

As 35 sa 5-6 price aya.

Unho na itna paisa fut. short ma he kama lia hoga, jitna Recon. ma use karna wali ho.

Ya fir unha dips ma buy karna tha yes bank share single digit ma.

I had applied to sbi ipo via ICICI ASBA. i had modified the ipo. I reduced the number of shares from 57 to 19. Initially, amount was blocked for 57 shares, but now as i have reduced the number of shares when will the remaining amount be unblocked? The amount is still blocked. Experts please reply.

same happens when i revise bid, but i then withdrawn & again applied
