Please let me know i am having one demat and one bank account (BOB), having bought SBI share today will be eligible to apply in share holder category. My question is that can i apply for retail category from same demat and bank account from which i have applied for SH Quota. will my both applications gets accepted or not, if not please guide me to apply in order to be eligible to get registered for both quoto's.
But after the discontinuation of offline IPO application how to apply for IPO because banks does not provide the Net banking and Debit card service to minor in that case what to do??? please suggest
1) Open savings account in the name of minor. Parent\Guardian will get net banking login access. 2) Open trading\demat account in name of minor. Again parent\guardian will get login access. 3) Get minor ASBA registered and minor demat mapped in net banking 4) Apply online through parent login. 5) Sell shares through trading app by parent login.
I think minor can apply for IPO without opening a savings account. You can open trading and demat account for minor, but link it with your bank account. What is the advantage? you dont have to provide maintainence charages to the bank for the new account created.
I remember reading about opening a demat for minor in chittorgarh FAQs, so please do refer it for complete guidance on how to open demat for minor..

I have questions related to Share holders category applications, please answer.
1) Can I apply 2 lacs each in shareholders category and Retail category (Total 4 lacs)? Mostly I hear 'Yes' form people but does this not cross the limit of 2lakhs and make it a NII application?
2) Can both Share holders and Retail category applicaions both applied for same Demat account? Do you think it should be a different Demat account to avoid rekections?
3) When applying reatil quota, I used to apply all my family 5 applications from my single SBI bank account. In case of Share holders application, Is this okay to do the same for shareholders quota also? or for share holder category is there any restriction to apply from linked bank account only?
4) Lets say all my family members hold a SBI shares, it will become like 10 applications (5 retail + 5 shareholders) from same bank account. Is that possible?
Can i bid for an IPO in 3 different categories under the SAME pan and SAME trading account? Will all 3 be accepted or rejected? Or will i get any particular category alone? I will apply bid as follow: 1. As a shareholder 2. AS a RII 3. AS a NII

You can apply in first two categories up to 2 lacs each, but if retail going to subscribe more than 1 times by application wise then there is no point to apply more than 1 lot in retail.
If you are bidding in retail then you cant bid in HNI, so chose either one as per your fund capacity.
Dear board members if 10 application in retail and 10 application in shareholders category by using same pan same bank account and and same dp I'd so then my application will be accepted or rejected please expert give some suggestions
I assume u meant 10 lots in each of retail and shareholders category. then yeas both are valid as long as the total in each category, doesnt exceed 2lacs.
However, if u really meant 10 applications in each category, every thing will be rejected. But, why do u want to apply 10 times in each category making altogether 20 applications?
1. So if i have 2 lakhs in hand, can i apply 1 lakh in share holder and another 1 lakh in retail category? (making sure the sum does not exceed 2 lakhs in total) 2. Also can i change the amount invested in each category as i like? example 1.5 lakhs in retail and 50,000 in shareholder category and vice versa.? 3. Can i invest in share holder and RII (total 2 lakhs) and another 2.1 lakh in NII? is it possible? well i dont have enogh money for NII, but i am eager to know how applications are accepted or rejected
As per page no. 414 of Draft Prospectus, "If the aggregate demand in this category is greater than 13,052,680 Equity Shares at or above the Offer Price, the allocation shall be made on a proportionate basis." - So even if there is OVER SUBSCRIPTION (for example 5 times), there will be sure shot ALLOCATION to applier based on Proportion, and there will be no lottery system like other RII, is my understanding correct ? Experts' views are welcomed. Thank you !
Can admin close this page for now? Or atleast block forum for now.. people are asking/discussing similar topics... Very less useful information as full details are not yet available for this IPO.. So open the forum when official concrete information is available after RHP and dates

543861 lot ( 24 share in 1 lot ) available for shareholders categories.. If we assume 15 lac + 5 lac add = 20 lac total share holders But all are not applied.. 5 % rejection.. After this 15 lac application comes under shareholder categorie.. Not more than 3X expectations...
Good portion reservation for shareholder...if person apply with maximum lot amount upto 2 lacs..will easily get around 3 lots...app wise this issue will be under subscribe in shareholder quota... In retail also app wise 2X looks dought full...price is little expensive..very limited scope left on table for retailer to get listing gain...
Resp @Deepcdsl Yes, Good chance to allotment in sh catagory Also very good chance in retail also According to Resp @Eagleye Retail subscription 1.6 T But i think it's very near to 1.2 T, so have a good chance to 10 allotted out of 12..
as per my opinion You should apply 1 lot in retail catagory And all your excess amount in shareholder catagory... Because i think that there are more cahnce to get some xtra share allotment in sh catagory..!! (Just answered in other comment section also with @prateek palawa, should be readable)
@Tinkarbell @sonal ji Ur calculation seems right, but as per my little knowledge in SH category , only individual &hufs Can apply so others like Qib, corporate, fii ,dii can't apply Will it reduces from 15-18 Lk In total? How much roughly?
Continue In that case with huge Qualified SHs participation, It is easier to get 1-2 lots in Retailer application rater than SH category application ?

anybody having any idea regarding the parent company of bajaj energy
For SBI Card Shareholder Quota, if existing shareholder is more than 15 lac then there is no or very less chance of getting firm allotment of minimum lot. There are only approximately 5 Lac lots in shareholder quota.
1. Maximum amount that I can invest combined in shareholders category and retail quota..?? Like 200000 in shareholders and 14000 in retail or 180000 in shareholders and 14000 in retail..
2. Whether shareholders quota and NII is allowed in single demat account??
dear default investor, 1. Max amount combined is 2lacs for shareholders quota and two lacs for retail quota. So, assuming u have applied in both categories to the max extent, the limit is 4lacs
2. NO, shareholders quota and NII is not allowed in single Demat Account. The instance u apply as NII, u will not be treated as Retailer and ur shareholder status will not be of any use if u r a NII.
