You can apply up to Rs 5 lakh in the Employee category. You will get allotment up to Rs 2 lakh if the issue is oversubscribed. In case the issue is under-subscribed in the category, the unsubscribed portion will be available for allocation and Allotment, proportionately to all Eligible Employees who have Bid in excess of Rs 2 lakh, subject to the maximum value of Allotment made to such Eligible Employee not exceeding Rs 5 lakh.

Then what means for taken sbi share for this category.

As many investor having so much money to bid in IPOs.

This is a pure cheating to retail investors.

Yes, that sounds correct as per the information in DRHP.

Except one clause which says "Our Company reserves the right to reject, in its absolute discretion, all or any multiple Bids in any or all categories."

DRHP submitted on 27 Nov, i guess RHP will get submit by 23 Dec, before that we have to purchase SBI share to be eligible for SH category. correct me if i am wrong.

Issues related dual applications
Individual and SH category
Findings..
In usfb case bob not allowed dual applications
Today morning I mat br.manager
And he told me that this problem is in our software and we are trying to solve it soon
But if not solved in time,he assured me to receive dual applications and bidding personally (i told them if isn't happen,i will migrate to some other bank)
So
Those who hold account in bob,
Can do the same

Company recently filed DRHP. Once approved by SEBI, they will be eligible for filing RHP.

Even if you buy 1 SBI share today and hold for it, you will be eligible for shareholders category.

PAN should be of the respective person only...
Only your friends will be eligible
take their demat IDs and to be eligible for employee category
USFB didn't have any employee category

As per RHP
"Only SBI Shareholders (i.e. individuals and HUFs who are equity shareholders of SBI (excluding such other persons not eligible under applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines) as at the date of the Red Herring Prospectus) would be eligible to apply in this Offer under the SBI Shareholders Reservation Portion."

You still have plenty of time to buy 1 share of SBI.

They are not giving employees concession for me served 37 years and retired
But giving preference to new employee who got only 1 year service.
