Two Question if i apply In shareholder quota (As I am share holder of sbi on record date) 1.allotment is confirm/Sure or lottery basis system ? 2.& allotment No. of shares to me as i applied Quantity (With 2 Lac Limit) Or any other method for quantity alloted to share holder quota Kindly Reply Expert
Currently there are around 20 Lacs shareholders of sbi and total number of available shares in this category are around 130 Lacs. So people applying with full force only can expect allotment of two to three lots in this category. IMO Applying for one or two lots in SH won't help.
Also I read somewhere that, if we apply full 13 lots in retail category, then first lot to be allotted will be on lottery basis and further lots will be allotted proportionately, is it true?
In retail, if allocation happens via lottery then that means the issue is oversubscribed more than 1x application wise. In that case anyone can max get one lot or nothing. No proportionate allocation.
I have one demat account with one bank account. I have to apply for 2 lots. I m sbi share holder, please suggest me the way to apply for the ipo. I am a college student and new to stock market please help me. Should I apply for both lots in sh category or one in share holder category and one in retail. Please guide me someone
