I guess no point in applying shareholder , just apply one each In RII and if you really have good amount just put in NII coz it's proportional atleast you get something rather than nothing in shareholder/RII

Sir, IMO writing mail to above mentioned address will not work out. SH can make representation to competant authority who has approved relavent documents.
Proportionate allotment in share holders quota is already mentioned in RHP. Now it's final and could not be charged by our emails or requests. So don't waist your time. Misuse of share holders quota is discouraged by this proportionate allotment. You buy 1 share and want to get one lot in share holders quota.

pls do not spend time on this to write emails, in DRHP also it was clearly mentioned. During last three months time period most of forum members already talked SH quota is like mini HNI quota and allotment is Proportional.
Looking at the size of the ipo, the promoters could have taken decision not to have 2 lakh limit under SH category. There are enough shares on offer under retail category so that everyone has chances to get allotment.
Let's not worry, participate the mega dream ipo. we will track for SH and also retail subscription with forecast once ipo is open.
Can i apply for 2 application under one demat account, one in retail portion second in shareholder category

@stkanlyst The purpose of my post was not to suggest anyone to avoid this IPO but to just alert on the fundamental issue of over valuation and also irresponsible attitude on the part of promoters to fetch as high price as possible. Even then, It may give you listing benefit as grey market movement suggests. So don't take such early decision and decide after seeing subscription. All the best.

SBI card & Payment Services Ltd. IPO: Some important facts:
The equity share capital of the company as on the date of filing the DRHP is 93.23 Cr shares of Rs 10 each. 74% of this or 68.99 Cr shares is held by SBI & 26% or 24.24 Cr shares by CA Rover Holdings (an affiliate of the Carlyle Group).
Carlyle Group entered the business in 2017 by buying out stake of GE Capital, who had been associated with SBI since 1998.
Below is how the shareholding has changed over the last 2-3 years
In early 2017 SBI was holding 60% stake (47.1 cr shares) & GE Capital holding 40% stake (31.4 cr shares).
GE Capital's stake sale was bought by both SBI and CA Rover. CA Rover paid Rs 2,000 Cr for its 26% stake, valuing the company at Rs 7,700 Cr at that point. 10.99 cr shares bought by SBI & 20.41 cr shares bought by CA Rover out of 31.4 cr shares of GE Capital @ Rs.80.58 per share in mid 2017.
In July 2018, 3.864 cr shares issued to SBI & 1.357 cr shares issued to CA Rover @ Rs.90 per share in right issue.
In July 2019, 7.038 cr shares issued to SBI & 2.472 cr shares issued to CA Rover on Amalgamation of SBI Business Process Management Services Pvt. Ltd. in SBI Card.
SBI will sell 3.72 Cr shares or 4% and CA Rover 9.32 Cr shares or 10%. It is estimated that the 14% stake sale will fetch Rs.10,000 Cr. This pegs the value of the company @ 70,000 Cr. At these valuations CA Rovers stake will be valued at about 18,000 Cr. It will make 9X return on its investments in just 2-3 years.
The fresh issue of shares is 500 Cr, these will be used to strengthen the company's capital base and ensure its compliance with RBI directives. SBI Cards is registered as NBFC-ND-SI (non banking finance company - systemically important non deposit taking company).
I am also waiting for this much awaited IPO & not criticising the issue but think..... how the Foreign PE firms make money from India. We know the growth potential & bright future of the company but why they are asking such huge premium instead of putting some for investors.....
And one more thing about shareholder category which increases SBI shareholders 50 to 60% in hope for allotment by retail investors but after reading rhp.... it is clear that allotment in shareholder category will be on proportionat basis so no benefit for retail investors. But don't worry..... i think everyone will get atleast one lot due to big size of IPO. so all the best.????????????????

I fully agree with your opinion. Promoters are making unjustified profit i.e from Rs.90 in 2018 to Rs.750 in 2020 - 8 times in 2 years on their aquisition cost. Also as per valuation parameters, IPO is extremely expensive i.e. P/E of 47 and P/B of 13. Since there is too much fancy about this IPO and a good Company IPO is coming after long time, it may easily go through but not much is left for the investors and it is important to see how it performs after listing.
This is so informative to all. What has changed in 2 years that the valuation has increased 10 fold. I am sure this is a bubble out to burst. I had plans to invest huge but after seeing this over valuation I am going to give it a miss. This doesnt deserve price beyond 200.
Please sale in grey if someone pay you premium above RS.3200/3500 per application. Don't be greedy ..it's a big IPO and based on past history out of 10 big IPO 7 fails to give return on listing due to huge selling pressure on listing day by retailers..and don't forgot it's a govt company and credit card image of SBI is not good in market..it's your money be smart in advance..

Sbi cards ,in future it may cross sbi market capitalisation. Future nifty stock. One must add this stock as portfolio stock long term
Different persons are giving different views so Administration or experts may kindly reply. In retail category attempt is made to first allot one lot to every applicant. Will such arrangement be there for applicants of shareholder category in this IPO? Please quote page number of RHP where this information is available.
Since allotment in shareholder category will be on proportionately basis..whether it is feasible to apply entire150000 (if someone has this amount to invest) amount in single application rather to apply in 10 different account
Read somewhere that current number of SH in sbi are around 20 Lacs. So if all apply, one will get 6 to 7 shares only. If half of them apply, people might get 12 to 13 shares
It looks people applying with one or two lots in SH category won't get anything. It would be useful only if one applies with full application in SH category as allocation being on proportionate basis.
Will the allotment in SH category be in the multiple of one share based on proportionate basis or minimum allotment will be one lot on proportionate basis plus lottery.?
