@Chittoragarh team can you please bit more explain about share holder quota allotment? Right now everyone give different opinion and make more confusion.
I just want to know if its work like retailer quota or hni quota? i.e. if share holder quota subscribe overall 100 times but application wise its subscribe only 1 full time then will everyone get allotment? or any thing other logic apply here? Thanks in Advacnce

Number of share holders doesn't matters in this issue. In Share holders quota , allotment is proportionate

The financial figure given abouve are wrong. Please check the financial statements for the correct figures.

No, the maximum limit under the shareholder category is 2 lac per application.

Kindly note there is no record date to determine share holders quota, there is only a cut off date which is the day of filing the RHP, in this case it is 18-02-2020

Is it possible to get at least 5 shares out of 19 shares per lot in SH on huge subscription as per proportionate basis allotment? And there is no meaning for minimum lot in SH.
In Retail portion it have been mentioned that minimum lot will be allotted then after proportionate basis in case of under subscription..

Please suggest is it possible??

In case of share holders quota over subscribe then proportional allotment. Minimum allotment will be in lot size on lottery basis. Extra shares may also alloted to them who have applied more lots. If this quota over subscribe 100 times then who have applied more than 100 lots will be allotted extra shares with minimum lot.

As long as you have even 1 share in your demat account on or before 18th February, you are eligible to apply as shareholder

As there is not much clarity, in this case, it is advisable to use the same demat account.

Ideally, the registrar should use the PAN number and it should not matter in which demat account you hold the share. But the rules are not available in public.

What is the probability of getting allotment, if applied in Employee category?? Can I got allotment If I apply 2 lac.

If you are an SBI employee; you could apply for Rs 5L in the employee category and Rs 2L in the retail category for maximum benefits.

If you are an SBI employee and a shareholder of SBI; you could apply for Rs 5L in the employee category, Rs 2L in the shareholder category and Rs 2L in the retail category for maximum benefits.

SBI Credit card's DRHP and ICICI prudential DRHP is same (Compare DRHP page 516 of ICICI prudential and DRHP page 411 of SBI credit card ). In ICICI prudential ipo, SH quota oversubscribed around 12 times. That time all applicants in shareholder quota allocated 1 lot each.

If you look at ICICI Pru basis of allotment (the link you shared), the shareholders allocation happened on proportionate basis only. If you look at the category 44 (people who applied for 44 shares) then this constituted 0.51% of the total shares demand in this category. The total number of shares allotted to this category was also 0.51%* 18,134,105 (total reserved portion) = ~93K shares. Ratio tells you how many people within the category 44 got the shares i.e 19 out of 227 because back then allotment happened in multiples of bid lot only.

Having said that, I think shareholder category of SBI cards can be considered as good as NII quota. We will a lot of participation from HNIs in this category.

Difference is maximum limit for application.
Icici Pru have 2 lac limit and sbi not have any limit

Total shares offered = 100
total bidder = 5
1st bidder- 50 share
2nd bidder- 100 share
3rd bidder- 200 share
4th bidder- 400 share
5th bidder- 500 share
So, for 100 shares total bid received is 1250 from 5 bidders. This indicates that issue is subscribed 12.5 times.
Now the question is who will get how many shares in the proportionate system of allotment. So bidders will get shares in the following manner.
1st bidder- 50/12.5= 4 share
2nd bidder- 100/12.5 =8 share
3rd bidder- 200/12.5 = 16 share
4th bidder- 400/12.5 = 32 share
5th bidder- 500/12.5 = 40 share

There is no proportionate rule anymore for allotment. It has been abolished years back. Its minimum lot allotment or else 0 allotment via lottery system.

Bid can be made only upto shares offered not beyond that, 100 in your case.

In past SBI LIFE INSURANCE LISTED BELOW IPO price.

Why you put wrong information. Its ipo price was 700 & listed at 735 (5%) premium though hni not fully subscribed. You can get this data at this site only under sbi life insurance ipo page
