As retail investor I want to apply under shareholder category less than two lacks so do I need to apply as lot or no of shares of that amount? Ex near by 13 lots of under 2 lcs Or near by 264 share of 755 rs under 2 lcs
Nothing like that .. All depends on the subscription figures , allotment basis which will be decided after the subscription process . In this particular IPO shareholder is like mini HNI , if you apply one or two Lots you wont get anything
As per my understanding, HNI can apply either as NII or SH (more than 2 lac) and not in both. Is it correct? Also can some body throw some light how HNI will decide whether to apply as NII or SH(more than 2 lac) in case they can apply only in one category. This is for my understanding only. I m a retail investor who would be applying as RII and SH (less than 2 lac)
After all the above discussions about shareholder category, can it be confirmed that we can apply above Rs200,000 as a shareholder? Or the only option is to apply as NII? Please confirm

Sir, You can apply full shareholder quota in one application only condition is then you cant apply with same PAN in any other quota RII/HNI.
If you want to apply in HNI then you cant apply in SH or in RII.
If you want to apply in RII then you can apply upto 2 lacs application in RII and upto 2 lacs application in SH.
Application amount more than 2 lacs in SH means you cant apply in any other quota.

@Bagra before someone else learning to type, u should first learn how to talk like a grownup, rather than a primary school kid..... it really helps u in life.....
and I am sure u know something called as TYPOS as u r smart enough to use a mobile or laptop or a tab to access this website...[google for the meaning of the word TYPO]
SBI CARD SHAREHOLDER category subscribe upto 150x maximum but application wise it may be subscribed by 3x hardly as per data for SH then proportionate basis allotment to give chance for that one who will apply at least 3 lot then surely get 1 Lot in SH if minimum lot is mandatory for lucky applicants.
You are wrong. If share holders quota subscribed 150 times then 1 out of 150 will be allotted 1 lot who have applied 1 lot. 1 lot firmly allotted to them who have applied 150 lots.
it is clearly mention in RHP that allotment to sbi shareholder category will be in PROPORTIONATE basis . there are no minimum lot allotment .only proportional basis . like for example In share holder category 1,30,52,680 shares available for allotment suppose if 13,05,26,800 shares applied by public then proportionate ration comes 1 -10 Bidder who applied 10 shares got 1 shares . Bidder who applied 100 shares will get 10 and another bidder who applied for 100000 shares will get 10000 shares . as simple as that . only big players get more benefit from this category. small bider will get nothing . In retail category it will be more beneficial for retail. 35% approx 4,27,81,188 shares available for retail. Hence it should be advisable to bid in retail category .
DRHP was released long time back and some good people here had also pointed out the "proportional" clause long time back. There should have been no confusion if people read and discussed the relevant messages. Unfortunately the forum was filled with "gmp kitna hai" messages.
