People with a share of SBI in their Demats for making use of Share Holder category, may better continue to hold it......
SBI Cards is the second SBI subsidiary to be listed on bourses in the last few years. SBI Life Insurance Company, listed two years ago, offered shares at Rs 700 per share. Its stock value today is Rs 916 per share, and the market capitalisation is Rs 91,630 crore. Grounds for Technical Rejection In addition to the grounds for rejection of Bids on technical grounds as provided in the General Information Document for Investing in Public Offer-Offer Procedure in Book Built Offer-Rejection & Responsibility for Upload of Bids - Grounds for Technical Rejections Bidders are requested to note that Bids maybe rejected on the following additional technical grounds: 1. Bids submitted without instruction to the SCSB to block the entire Bid Amount; 2. Bids which do not contain details of the Bid Amount and the bank account details in the ASBA Form; 3. Bids submitted on a plain paper; 4. Bids submitted by Retail Individual Investors using the UPI Mechanism through an SCSB and/or using a Mobile App or UPI handle, not listed on the website of SEBI; 5. Bids under the UPI Mechanism submitted by Retail Individual Investors using third party bank accounts or using a third party linked bank account UPI ID (subject to availability of information regarding third party account from Sponsor Bank); 6. Bids submitted without the signature of the First Bidder or Sole Bidder; 7. The ASBA Form not being signed by the account holders, if the account holder is different from the Bidder.
Chittorgarh team, What does point number 7 means. As far i understand if one bid from third party asba account than signature of account holder is required. If the bidder sign than rejected but if account holder sign than accepted. Means bid is possible for third party bank account

I purchased 1 stock of sbi in Nov. 2019 as i wanted to be eligible for sbi cards ipo in SH category. 5 days back i purchased 200 more for trading purpose. I now want to sell the 200 stocks of sbi. If i sell it today, will i be eligible for share holder category in sbi card? Asking because share deduction happens on FIFO and my selling of 200 stocks will actually first sell the 1 stock i purchased in Nov '19.
Thanks Manikj. This is confirmed right? I also had the same view but i spoke to few ppl. and they have confused me by saying that i need to keep the stocks until the allotment. Hence, asked.
I am new to investment. Just created zerodha account and waiting for activation. Someone please guide me and also tell me how to maximize sbi card ipo allotment chances.
I have 1 Demat account and I am SBI shareholder with 50 shares for the last 2 years. My question is Can I apply in Retail and Shareholder in both categories? What will be the chances for an allotment?
