why? is there any specific date before which i need to buy the SBI share? If i buy today it wil be in my demat by friday. OR is there any minimum qty i should hold?

2008 like crash is impossible unless there is a news unprecedented in last 50 years. Nifty will not fall below 10500

I also wish market doesn't crash, all of make money.

But only worry factor is liquidity.. If the ipo will be subsribed by 100 times as predicted by many experts, where this 10 lakh crore will come?

Nothing is impossible @investormahesh and @amit , yes liquidity crunch can be seen as people sell some profitable entities in secondary market to invest in SBICPL ipo.
Short term pain can be seen
Corona virus problem can go anywhere, almost 4-5countries effected, if it spread in big Asian countries like india,pak than its very hard to control (imo)

Pak's population is around 19 crore..
And up's population is around 20.50 crore..

So 19 crore population is nothing then....
I dont know if a country with 3% of world population and 5th in ranking in terms of population is not a big country, then what will be considered as a big country.
Love for our own country is good, but blind hatred towards others will ultimately result in our own doom.
Its better to apply some logic once in a while rather than just consuming what ever our media is peddling to us.

How can Bank account and demat account be linked????

You always have a bank accnt linked with your demat accnt from which you transfer funds into demat accnt... I am talking about that..

Dear Sir,
As per the dont's mentioned on point 24 on page 419 of SBI Card IPO RHP, application made using 3rd party UPI or ASBA Bank Account may liable to be rejected.

So technically you can't apply in your son's name with your bank account.

But we are not sure why they have mentioned "may' word in RHP.
