You will still get allotment if the account is dormant .after activation only you will able to sell .Recently I got allotment in ideaforge and senco gold .

No. Allotment chances do not Change. If alloted, request your broker to reactivate the account.

They didn’t get allotment in IPOs where retail portion was not fully subscribed?

@abc xyz Good morning. You are very concerned about HMA Agro. Know you are holding good quantity. But why only HMA ? You might be holding good quantity of other shares also. There were very very negatives about the same and you again and again only HMA.
POWER MECH, POWER GRID, KAYNES, DREAM FOLK, SYRMA, GNA AXEL and many more shares are also there. POWER MECH got a very big order and the share crossed 5k, alltime high yesterday. Just see 52 week h/l.

Have accounts in Indusind and Kotak. But how to use this facility. Where can I read about it? Please help @M Gupta :)

You can link your Fixed Deposit to your saving or current account by using Net Banking:
1) Go to Investment -> Deposits
2) Link a Fixed Deposit to Savings / Current Account

Once the FD is linked you can use the FD amount to apply IPO via ASBA, without breaking the FD

I have a accounts in indusind bank , provide accessing FD amount thru ASBA

SBI account holders can confirm

You can create flexi FD in SBI called MOD.
If you apply for an ipo then the FD breaks immediately, if you do not have money in savings Ac..

In SBI, it is called Saving Bank Plus Account. It will create MODs automatically whenever your balance exceeds the set minimum balance requirement. You can also set minimum amount of MOD.
Whenever you withdraw amount, these MODs will be automatically broken and thus, you can withdraw like a Saving Bank account.

@Sktyagi can u please tell me the process how can we use FD linked account in ASBA through indusind bank....i have indus multiplier max account in indusind bank which has auto sweep facility with threshold limit of 20k....
