I used to transfer money from my kotak savings account to my family and friends account for ipo purpose and takes the amount back to my kotak savings account when ipo is not allotted.

Today kotak bank imposed debit freeze on my account. What wrong did i do here. All of these funds are my white money What should i do now. I visited branch gave a letter for unfreeze bit they said they wil take 5-7 working days.

All my funds are freezed now and im worried. Please help me on this

​@BlackRock It is surveillance step taken by bank software proactively to check unwanted transfers from your account to other accounts due to cyber activity. Further these transfers may be of same amount with significant ticket size. It has been done to safeguard bank to avoid incurring potential loss due to cyber activity.
You may take up matter with your branch and may resolve in 3-4 days.
Incase you face such action again, you may switch to ICICI Bank or any other scb.

​@GrayIsTheNewBlack Yes rightly pointed that lottery is lottery and we have to accept it , I hv missed so many times and gone throgh this procedure but this is apart of our doing... again today previously i was of the opinion to apply FF in macobso and definately wll get two lots but last minutes change the idea and applied in kataria and stands by luck very near to 50%+ . But again in risk zone like earlier .... Rest leave on god. My querry say if application is appx 50.52% and no other application of that lot then by calulation automatically one will get as per the availabilty of excess shares .i.e. all above 50% will get share if no other application there.
As per me It is very easy to answer querry of others but very difficult of judging owns querry ...

We cannot say for sure if 50.52% will be allotted or not.
Sometimes even 48% may get and sometimes 52% may not get everything is depending on availability which we cannot know now.
I was extra cautious today and avoided lottery by a single application of 260 lots in Macobs.
This week though the large subscription jump post 3 pm hasn't happened.

The only reason I participated in kataria is this only that no abnormal movement seen in subscription so I applied for first time taking large od sdditional 4. 90 lot

Not allotted for my two accounts from any of the four IPOs. Biggest applications were for Aelea for 69 lots x 2 app. No regrets. Concentrate on the IPOs closing today.

​@PLAZA Sir, that is how lottery works.
In Nephrocare the lottery was 1/40+ and got allotment there, here it was just 1/2 and didn't get.
I feel it is about the time, agar time accha ho to tough allotments bhi mil jaati hai (happened with me in June) and when time is not supportive even easy ones become difficult to get (happening now Ganesh, Aelea).
