To my knowledge, the promoters of the "Devyani" is of "Varun Beverages" group, who have a track record of rewarding the shareholders reasonably well, over a period of time. It is not known whether the promoters of this company enjoys the same reputation.

Except that, the valuations of this company is at reasonable discount to "Devyani".

Arjun you are somehow correct. Just compare with Jubilant food. 52000 cr for 878 cr sales. Sapphire is having 313 cr. sales and if 50% waitage is given even then price comes to 1500. After Policy listing Paytm is suppose to list near 2500.

@vmaru: first point is having very little impact in all three categories.
And in second point, one more point to add is that tarson also opened and many thinking that sapphire refund can''t be used in tarsons and tarson is having more GMP.
And two more points which you missed are:
1. Market going down from 2 days and recent trend is also not favourable and everyone can''t sail through like nykaa even in such market movement.
2. It''s valuations are higher at 1180 as per revenue/profits and devyani is considered better than this and sapphire will probably go down below issue price after listing in some days or weeks, no matter what price listing is being happen.

Why to go till Barbeque Nation, Is Sapphire''s twin brother Devyani selling only Veg burgers/pizzas? It showed 50-60% GMP till listing 😜😂

yes agree with noorul/sdz here, i dont think this factor would have any impact on subscription, very minimal impact may be in retail only, neither these things will impact such companies share price movement in future.
The only real sentiment impact which i have seen on any ipo was gland pharma. That had really impacted huge in subscriptions due to china issue and our patriotism sentiments. it was wave kind of that time againts that ipo but later QIB''s made everyone regret for bringing emotions into business ;) :)
And our Mr MRavi Sir made good fortune in that share :)

I also had a few negative points which is why i totally skipped this.
1) Huge ofs and no fresh issue.
2) Some investors who are selling their stake were allotted shares @560 a few months back.
3) Exorbitant valuations compared to Devyani. If we try to remember, Devyani was rangebound between 110 and 120 for quite sometime before positive results gave it much needed stimulus.

I agree with @lokes on this one. It should technically go below issue price irrespective of the listing price. But in this market anything is possible as we had seen with Barbeque nation frenzy.

I want this IPO to succeed so when new investors compare this with Devyani for investment, they probably park their money in a profit making giant.aka DEVYANI.
Also hoping devyani goes the jubilant way for next 10 years.😊
