In present circumstances there looks more risk for those who applied in the company. In view of the subscription figures and past history of company's IPO in Feb 13, bit risky. Retailers are going to get full allotment according to their application applied. 1 to 13 lots in full. In 2013 company came with IPO FV 10 at a price of 70-75. Due to subdued response to this IPO from investors the IPO was withdrawn.
Now FV of 2 share IPO at 210-220 apiece seems to be on very higher-end. I don't think this is very friendly/lucrative sector for the investors. No doubt the company is going to open many stores. Half the issue is OFS.
Who applied and shares allotted to keep themselves very attentive and take decision accordingly. Next week market conditions will decide the fate of listing.
My view only and not to disappoint any one.
Even a premium of 10 to 15 can give some benefit to sHNIs, where chances of allotment is good. SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING.

​@PKRAJ ji, another way to look at the earlier IPO failure is, they (Sai) have made a spectacular comeback at stellar valuations. Also, FV is irrelevant.
Listing may be muted but in the long term this company is well positioned to participate in the Indian consumption growth story
Discl: 2 retail applications of 13 lots each, will look to exit with nominal gains in the short term

My perception is festival season will be started in South India with duseera, diwali, Christmas and marriage season etc for next three months. So, it may not give instant gain but within three months it may give good returns approx 15 to 25%or more, if market supports. It is my personal opinion. It may be baised also as I applied IPO of it.

As this IPO has poor gmp, most people would have done sell and apply. So don't do panic sell on listing day, instead sell after 2-3 weeks for 15-25% gains or hold for medium term, as this company fundamentals are good and has good reputation in Telugu states.
Note : Biased in this Ipo because of my home state.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

Had some time today to do a bit of due diligence regarding this issue. Went through the DRHP and all the brokerage reports available and now I am quite confident of a positive listing here, somewhere around 245-250.

All the brokerages have provided a 'subscribe' rating with a positive commentary along with a 'apply' rating from our very own Dilip sir.

Also, seeing an amazing participation from QIBs adds to the confidence

I have a small-moderate exposure of 2 full retail applications (26 lots) here but I am planning to hold this for 300 levels (festive season is coming and there will be great fancy for this counter as it is in consumer discretionary segment)
With all the info available, this is my firm belief that we should see 300 level this year just like amazing returns given by other firm allotments (in retail) like Medanta, Mankind and Rainbow.

Current GMP in Jaipur is 7/9 last checked yesterday.

I see everyone is talking about inventory turnover ratio. But one thing everyone should know that the valuation is good for investment and they are raising 600cr in fresh issue for opening 30 stores in Tamilnadu alone. Now tamilnadu is hub and biggest saree market in India. If you see unit economics in rhp the tamil Nadu stores are performing better that there counter parts in other states. In next 3-4 years these newly opened stores will additionally 1000cr in revenue along with the organic growth of existing one's. Also, women in South mostly purchase sarees more in festive season that is also one reason for more time required to clear the inventory.

I too applied at lower price band and not allotted. Good learning.

Good to see users posting about their mistakes and learnings.

One general advice to self and to all,

1. Please don't get panic by seeing 50% 80% minus orders at listing day in pre-market.

2. Never ever set sell order lower than issue price, that breaks positive sentiment among others and negative pattern emerges.

3. Let's take calculated risk and try to sell with some gain.

I'm sure, this pattern will benefit to all of us in future IPOs!

@PUSHPaa we cannot find out how many retail or big sellers selling. from your example it might be 1 seller selling 2.7lakh shares and 99 may be selling 30000 shares.

Will BigShare follow LinkInTime , Cameo and Kfin for this ipo and do T+3 listing ???

​@Earthking , I think let big share list one IPO in T+3 before believing.
Cameo is also giving T+2, T+1 allotments but listing is still being done at T+6 for some strange reasons.

T+3 is in trending 100%

​@diwan kapoor I am so excited to read your post in reply to other post. You applied to test your knowledge of 40 years of investing. As far as Infosys IPO in 1990 is concerned, no body at that time was expecting Sensex at 67000.
My first IPO allotment was Glaxo. 25 Shares @15.00. I had little knowledge about share market. I was going to Bank for official work. My boss requested me to submit 2 share application forums of Glaxo in Bank. I decided to fill up one application in my name also. Fortunately only I got my first IPO allotment in this way and never looked back. I am a small investor with limited funds and limited expectations. I am happy, where I am.
I had many Kapoors an Chopras as my friends when I was in Delhi. I am born and brought up in Delhi and only a graduate from Delhi University.

Like you I am also a senior citizen sir.. & as far as the share market is concern.. I used to visit the Delhi stock Exchange in the early 1990..as I was working in govt. Office at Asaf Ali Road.. there was a ring trading at that time.. Still I have a great memories for that atmosphere Sir.. I also completed my studies from Delhi University.. Now I got retired & have a govt pension with the great passion of investing in share market..

​@Not A Trader I think you are being highly selective in mentioning those names. What about Cyient DLM, Kaynes Technologies and Archean Chemicals? All these are also from south India and received tremendous response, and gave excellent results too.
At the same time, there are many IPOs that came from North or West, were not heavily subscribed either and gave good returns after listing ..example, Ruchi Soya (Patanjali), Divgi Torq, Landmark cars.
Will be great if you don’t generalise based on location and instead try and find what could be the underlying reason for each of them individually…could be valuation, lack of marketing, industry under pressure, promoter holding, past track record, financials not looking promising…and many others.
Just my two cents to help look in the right direction rather than seemingly wrong one.🙏

Coming to your analysis, i will humbly disagree with you.
First of all- Cyient DLM- Its parent company is very bigone with good name and posting some excellent results and this one came with higher expectations.
Kaynes Technologies- The company itself is in AI and digital business and has similar reputation
Archean Chemicals: I think it received mild response and listed at par and the thing even though its base(promoters) is Tamil nadu,its manufacturing plant is in Gujarat(west) and many know of it.
The northern/western companied you mentioned like ruchisoya,landmark etc are not subscribed because of their shorfalls.Ruchisoya had some panic at the time of subscribing and landmark- no one believed its model even if you remember same happened with ethos as well.
Iam not generalising based on location.My concern/intention is that when any company coming from south ,the southern people are not coming forward eventhough the companies have huge reputation and fame here and atleast each from one family in south knows these companies very well.
Basically even if they dont know or in dilemma,their opinions got masked by some north/west indian people in the forum who dont know much about them provided that they are good companies.Hope you understood
