The reason for no gmp in my view is.... company shown manyavar, go fashion etc as peer their pe is very high .... however in market view these companies can not be it's peer and considering it as normal textile type company whose pe generally are 8-10.....
Similar was the case with ellin who was showing kaynes syrma as peers but these companies were not peer hence market gave less valuation

IPO fatigue has set I think
It's a good company with good spread of stores in South
In Chennai they have good presence in prime retail areas 4 sites
Valuation is lower than peers in most parameters
But I don't think it is going to be subscribed going by the present figures

Well i am not a paid promoter...but for learning purpose I want to know from all the expert here .. why this company is not good... because many people are giving some illogical reason that saree demand is decreasing..saree is Indian tradition from ages and changing this tradition is also required ages.
One time ipo fail does not mean it is not a good company otherwise how can they
Grown to such level.
GMP is nil - but can we judge company only by gmp. Anyone remember chemcon and Laxmi organic

@iamfoolish - Do consider that fact that sales especially sarees got affected quite a lot during covid.

In general when guest would range between 200-300 people in marriages, covid restriction led to 50 guests. And sarees especially the range Sai Silks sells has direct correlation to it.. till 2021-22 second half..
Their stores and mall is near to where I stay and I can say footfall is surely there.

Now valuation wise, I feel they are reasonable but they company should have left something more this time around based on 2013 failed IPO.

there are hardly 4-5 messages from new ids, i think its over reaction from old members.... one can apply new trick if he want to reduce retail subscription is to message rosy things using 4-5 new ids... one more thing it might be 1st company with lowest subscription with 14 apply and 0 avoid recomendations

It's inventory turnover (Net sales/ Average Inventory) of 2 times is lowest amongst Indian listed retailers and also reduced from 3 times in FY20. Inventory t/o is make or break for any retailers.
Just for example Dmart grown rapidly because they sell very quickly.

It holds nearly 6 months of sales in stocks increases holding cost which increases working capital days & costs and there is risk of change in trends as well.

Out of fresh issue of 600 cr, the apportionment for working capital is 280 cr and for store expansion 150 cr. The timeline to complete store expansion is upto FY25 or FY26.

Note: The above said are facts and not my opinion to apply or avoid this IPO.

One thing noticed in brokerage reviews such as Reliance sec, etc comparison with peers is not discussed. Primafacie peer PE ratio is lucrative when compared with this issue. Still GMP is lacklustre. Any one from forum could clarify. Bada confusion hai. Dawdaji & Anil Singhvi are 180 degree opposite in view.

ZeeBusy recommendation is AVOID. Inventry is high that implies market for sarees not growing.

Approx 14x increase in price ... What has changed to justify such heavy premium except the 🐂 market
