As far as digitization is concerned though small but S Chand is also foraying into the digital world. Presently digital revenue is minuscule under 5 % of the total revenue.
we should not forget that People have not stopped reading newspaper because e-paper is there at their disposal.

but revenue models of newspapers changed,
hey are no more earning from ''news paper prices''
its now ads, paid news and adsense income (see dainik bhaskar site, it must be earning good revenues from affiliate marketing)
its changing now a days, I subscribe 1 hindi news paper in physical form, but have 4 newspaper (epaper) in my bookmark.

one more point - piracy of expensive books, not sure about S chand, but it is causing major revenue cuts, example is ''elseviers''
many of my batchmates never bought elseviers books, 3000 vali book was available in 200 rs (with good printing)

GMP formula works only if it matches with the dynamics of the modern portfolio theory : - DCF method , P/E Trading Principle , DDM method , FCFE and so on .

GMP without any basic support are just rumours spread by operators with brokers . So it''s not wise to simply follow GMP .

S.Chand hiked issue price from 570 to 670 despite the fact that Education sector has left nothing on the table for small investors and Retailers.

Above 680 was just pull back . Now again struggling at 670.

Real Action starts after 2 p.m . If it closes below 685 , exit
