Previously it took sometime to recover purchase price and was lucky enough that I made nominal profit.
Now I am confused that should I go for it or keep away (based on previous experience).

@experts. A query about making a profit in this FPO.

How practical it's to apply for this FPO for a couple of lots in retail (4-6 lots), since you'll most likely to get around 50% retail lots that you've applied for. So for example, if I have applied for 10 retails apps, I may have chance to get around 3-5 lots. And now, at the same time, after 28th march, do short-selling with min quantity (around 50 shares everyday with StopLoss of 10 points), as it's expected to fall towards the FPO price. Do you think it could be a chance to earn in this way, even though either share price move up/down around listing date?

I am looking for knowledge on short sell.
As per my understanding short sell position need to be closed on same day.
Can we keep short position for more than a day ?

@Ravuji, yes, it's for only intra-day.

But as I said, we'll keep strict stop loss of 10 points, to avoid more losses. On the profit side, it's upto you if you want to wait for the end of the day. I would prefer booking 20 points profit if available shortly during the day.
