Skipping Ruchi Soya IPO completely.

Profitability (Profit % of revenue) has been continuously falling and expecting margins of CPG companies in general, to be under pressure for some more time. Do not wish to block my capital at this stage.

No clear picture so far.
It is not known whether NII's bidding is at higher price band.
It is most unlikely that Retail would be Subscribed 100%.
I will take a call at 2.45 PM. Most probably, I may apply for 5 lots, in a single application.

Seems like qib will prove me wrong today??

Today there is almost nil public holding with close to 99% with promoter. Non promoters will sell because they can buy at FPO price now and hence the price is falling. On FPO listing day, suddenly 20% holding will be with non promoters including public. The stock falling below FPO is highly inlikely but slow movemnt upwards can be seen if markets recover, April onwards. The downward risk is hence limited but the upward tick is also immediately guarenteed. Looking at this scenario, It would be prudent to take a risk only if you playing big, not 1-2 lots but larger quantum.

Apply in Retail Category, not in HNI. Must Apply with half money and another half after listing. "Adani Wilmar's history repeat" BABA SABH KI KEH KAR LEGGA !!!

I am research & analyst, as per my chart reading no chance to go under 650. Hope on allotment time it will be over 750, so apply for small listing gain & long term is very good any food companies like adani wilmar.

I will not apply for this , listing day it might go up little and come down heavily. I will be available at 300-350 in a while.

QIB may be around 5-6× . HNI subscription expected 10-12× . Retail will be in the range of 1-1.5× .

In IPO it is beneficial to apply from multiple demat accounts(as we get only 1 lot max)

In fpo, it is same

In fpo, proportional allotment is done(like in case of 2x, 5 lots out of 10 applied)

Allotment will be same way like in IPO for both retail and HNI category.

If you are capable of 4 lots, apply only in half lots i.e. 2. Hold money for again buying below 600 level. The chance of upside is 80%.

I didnt like the fact that now they want to dump food business of Patanjali on Ruchi Soya.. no idea how the margins on that business (expect it will be low, if its common commodity items like dal chaval etc.).
Patanjali messed up the momentum they got when started, out sourced most products and these turned out to be very low quality. wasted a great opportunity in pursuit of quick profits.
Anyway I applied for just one lot. Looks retailers dont trust erstwhile bankrupt company nor the babas :)

Unlikely. Application wise max 9 10 lakh application given current pattern
