Applied 5 lot in Retail looking Baba's Aggressiveness in his business and sharing the profit with shareholders. His interest to give high quality products competing with MNCs shows his keen interest in business. We can expect unexpected return from this IPO. Good Luck to All
Gentle man, Retail category 0.6 times only. Can anyone please explain why such low subscription? Can I apply or better to avoid. Expert, please advise. this will help many people.
This is the most confusing FPO I have ever seen. Lesson from may past experience - Whenever you are unsure on any Stok/IPO/FPO/Buyback, it is better to stay away from it. This phillosophy helped me during Paytm and Zomato IPO also.
This is comparative with Adani wilmar, Just for news for public - Patanjali buiscuit business is transfer in Ruchi soya, It is positive news for future. But apply with your personal view & capacity & knowledge. I am research & analyst, This is my view only. Always take your own decision. For your information I am apply.
Adani Wilmar ki bat hui to bata du ki aaj double ho gaya wo

Applied 8 lots in RII. As RII is likely to be less than one time subscription, expect full allotment. Will add if price falls later. Mostly it wont. Let us see after listing. Best wishes to those taking risk.
How does this FPO works , can someone help me ? My understanding - Current Price value of Ruchi Soya is : 810 ...and FPO asking rate is 650 .... So if i get allotment of this stock via FPO then the listing price will be whatever that is already going on in the secondary market ... the profit will be 810-650 (i.e. 160) ..assuming the stock stays at 810 which is very less likely to happen .This example is quoted just to understand how FPO works ,,can someone please validate my understanding ?
Assuming your statement is true.. ie. price stay at 810, On listing day, everyone equal.. existing and new allottee will try sell on opening, as there will huge arbitrage of 160 rupees. It may hit the lower circuit unless some white knight with huge bags comes to the rescue.

yes @neeljuh you are right this is how FPO works ,your profit would be 160 rs assuming 810 will be cmp. But do keep in mind that this will not be the case and everyone who applied in FPO will try to cash in on that day and thus will lead to selling pressure i guess.
Your understanding is correct. If stock stays around 810 levels, you can sell for a profit. However, highly unlikely that it will happen like that. Right now only 1% public shareholding and still the stock is down 7% today. After FPO non-promoter shareholding would be around 20%. So it is very much likely that share price comes further down in the short term.
Current price is irrelevant. It all depends on the price on listing day. Also some brokers allow to sell 1-2 days before listing but most of the discount brokers don't allow to sell till shares are in demat. Check Yesbank Fpo history.
Price may not be same as it is today. Gradually it will come down till listing day. On listing day price would be (650+Todays GMP) i.e. around 680 only. However if someone is holding shares right now, it is wise to sell now and buy on listing day.
Fpo in all respects is the same as the existing shares.but increases the volume once the co get permission for listing the new shares there will be selling pressure from retail investors.the co has left something for retailers by pricing the fpo at reasonable rate
From beginning of the inning, Baba Ramdev was on a sticky wicket. Retail batsman finally RUN OUT at 0.80. Baba has lost his charm and charisma. Seeing the the tail of the retail investors, i decided not to apply in retail. what is the use of that plus minus Rs. 800 compared to the stress and strain that can not be quantified. good luck to all who applied in this much hyped much awaited IPO.
