RPP Infra is a construction company primarily engaged in the business of infrastructure development such as highways, roads and bridges.
The report says, "The company’s market cap is coming to around Rs 154-170 crore at a lower and upper price band of Rs 68-75. The P/E post issue comes to around 20 times on a lower price band of 68 and 22x on an upper price band of 75 on an FY10 EPS of 3.5. The price to book value comes to 5x and 5.5x at Rs 68-75 price band. The valuations are on a higher side if we compare it with its peers like ARSS Infra and Pratibha Industries they are trading at 13x and 11x respectively. P/BV is around 4.5x of ARSS Infra whereas Pratibha Industies is trading at 2.2 times its book value.SO I WOULD SUGGEST investors to avoid the issue considering its steep valuation when another listed players are available at a cheap valuations."
Avoid RPP Infra Projects IPO issue considering its steep valuation when other listed players are available at a cheap valuations...ARSS Infra and Pratibha Industies
I e-mailed ICICI Directcom to enquire why they are not accepting applications for this issue and if there are any alternative to apply through them under ASBA. I'm regularly applying for IPOs thru them. There is no response so far. Something looks fishy about this IPO, also because application forms are not available. I am thinking of avoiding this issue.

ASBA should be released by 24th or 25th, Other refunds should start pouring in from 29th onwards, The Registrar was Karvy so expect 2 to 3 days delay
Panditji if I have extra money in my a/c shall I go for it like trying my fortune....or it would turn to misfortune by applying for it !!!??? I think atleast it will provide some listing gains....but i know its risky

Sancheti Saab, Iam not following this Issue, This Issue has nothing going for it, except that speculation would be rampant, We are now at the peak of such open speculation, look at Bedmutha, Glycoal, now Gravita, You may apply, but I fear, something will be done to stop this open rampant Insider speculation, Who knows by the time RPP goes in for listing, SEBI may clamp on such speculation, and RPP just may be the first one to be under SEBI's hammer, Be cautious Bhai, this open rampant speculation can not go on forever
