Really liked the thread of allotment chances of retail vs hni info one of the question I had is in hni does it matter if I apply for 3 or 10 aa in both falls as hni however applying more increases the chances? I have applied 2 hni and 1 retail just to try my luck

In highly over-subscribed IPO's your 12 lot application would go in a lottery with other 12 lot applicants. If you win the lottery you'll be allotted.
If one wants guaranteed allotment then they need to bid for more lots than the over-subscription figures.

Hello CG members If I get an allotment in sme hni category then I get full application shares aur partially thanx .

Micropro allotment came on T+1 night.
Or was it because of thin subscription?

​@ValueSeeker , Micropro allotment was released early as the registrar was handling Rox issue as well.

All registrars were closed on Saturday... lets see for this monday... if they are open... then will get allotment.. else directly on Wednesday now. Because of diwali holidays

I am asking one question I have 6 Retail ac and I have applied hundreds of IPOs since oct 2021 in specifically SME IPOs
Even though I got only 4 allotments, I never got elite IPO allotment in my life
Even though I am applying again and again
You know why
I just believe RTA and LM is doing their job in just and unbiased manner when there is allotment lottery
Just trust you know nothing at all

No question so trying again is the only thing We can do

That too in a large sme

They may dump first day first show.Easy 2X gain without any risk in very less time frame, is no easy feat in trading/investment. Further at PE-19-20, upwards potential is not known.
(General observation and not to create panic. Not a buy or sell recommendation).

Usually QIB never sellls allotment on listing But God knows what will happen

Hi, just created an account as i always wanted to ask this.

For SME ipos, which one has better allotment chances? 1 hni application or 1 retail application?

For reference, in rox hi-tech ipo, would i have been better off with 1 hni application (2,65,600) or 1 retail application (1,32,800)? Which one has a better chance theoretically?

PS: I want to put it out there that the CG community is just awesome. It's unbelievable a community such as this exists free of cost.

It's 367 time jisme 2 lot, 3 lot, 10,20,50 har lot me apply hua hoga , application wise to 25-30 time hi hoga.

I just gave an example that IF there are only 2-lot applicants then appwise 183 times subscription. And even then HNI is better than retail. Generally, that is the case. It is rare to find Paragon type BOA where 2-lot HNI applicants actually have slightly lower probability of allotment than retail.

I'm getting multiple non allotments in multiple IPOs in 1 year. Zero allotment it is.
If I mail registrar either they'll not reply else, they'll reply Draw of lots. Tried with KYC link shared by CG member. Applied from 2nd demat account. No luck.
1.Can anyone guide me to check how matching will happen in PAN Card VS Bank Name.
Name Example: Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar with Sachin R T. Is this valid ?
2. Please guide me how to check PAN details online as I heard PAN card printed name maybe different from PAN card application name.

I want to get clarity on this. I need some guidance. Thank you.

If you are in so much confusion
Apply in undersub or almost 1x sub ipo,
see if you gets any allocation or not ....
You may haze 0% profit chance but you will get to know if anything is worng in your demat or not.

It is your wish to apply or not I am just suggesting :)

Check for the email to get reason for non allotment. Is it some pan mismatch or other issue or due to over subscription

Unfortunately, I couldn’t be able to apply for this great SME IPO due to inadequate funds, All the best to the applicants.

​@KBG  results are average in kn agri not so good, so it has went down.
its not performing from more than a year so in my view , its better to sell and come out from here or you can observe for some more days.

​@Ipoaspire Sorry for late reply. First of all wish you a very happy Diwali.
As far as your question, I have very less exposure of SMEs. Not getting any allotment and so not taking more interest in these. I apply only in good SMEs, so not getting allotment. Hoping this Diwali may give good news of SME allotment.
But I have gone through the reviews, subscription figures and listing details. All not that good. But after listing lot of activities was seen. Now Cloud is in real clouds. The closing of last trading session you can see.
Whether you have got allotment and holding or you have bought from market. Both things makes a lot of difference. Now you can decide from your entry point in this share. In present circumstances and comments from members you can decide what to do. Very difficult situation for you now. SMEs are very very risky.
