So the irony here is that , i have been allotted 3rd party allotment in glenmark life science and previous IPOs as well and here the registrar is denying for the same.
This is the reason why people are so doubtful about the same topics again and again.
If it doesn''t happen to you it''s a myth, if it does then the one who''s doubting it is a fool and vice versa.

Simple question! If 3rd party ASBA not allowed then why even government bank SBI allows this facility? I assume the member doing chat was not well informed!

As per sebi rule 3rd party ASBA or UPI applications are not allowing.

Still People getting 3rd party application allotments, the reason might be registrar not able to filter out 3rd party applications due to various reasons which we normal people don''t know.

So as per SEBI rule, 3rd party applications are not allowed, Kfintech support person has to reply like this only. You ask 100 times to them about 3rd party application, they will reply same that "3rd party application are not allowed and liable for rejection".

Recently one more bank after BOB, now federal also stopped allowing more than 1 application per IPO from one bank account.
Slowly remaining banks will also stop more than 1 IPO application per IPO per bank account.

For Glenmark I got 1 lot where I had applied using Zerodha (my cousin account) and bank account used was mine. So it is allowed by KFintech need to check on Linkintime
