My dad has a demat account but he never used it I learnt about the stock markets from my friends I use the demat account of my day and I suddenly got lucky in IPOs from Linkintime and skyline
I have gotten every ipo from them
And then I got interested in the stock market
Tbh Mera paas funds ka problem nahi tha
Sab funds mere papa dete the mujhe as I kept on learning
Its is such a great experience learning with you all
I have strong conviction that registrars kuch tho game khel rahe hai

And one more thing I don't have a minor brotherI hope I am lucky for ipos and will succeed in the stock market

I guess 50% of the messages in each thread can be considered as 'off-topic'. Random rants, silly banter, queries related to account opening and many more would come under the gamut of 'off-topic'.

^^Just my opinion. It will always be Admin's decision to do what is considered right for the platform.

The most important thing is to stay invested in good business at reasonable valuation in decent allocation for long term to create wealth in this market.

Trading may give you short term money or bit happiness but it's amazing to see 300-1000% returns in portfolio.
Here you can see in last 10 years 50% of these stocks gave more than 15% CAGR return which makes more than 400% return in absolute term. The only problem here is that very few are interested in making slow money and that's why trading is very fascinating.

No need to go for allocation of funds. जस्ट go to IPO. Click on the company you want to apply. Check the pre filled data. Change it if needed. सबमिट it. Next screen will appear. It shows the funds needed for allocation. Click on proceed. Your application is submitted and funds have been allocated. I have applied today. No problem noticed.

I have applied an retail application for rishab ipo from sbi I had accepted the mandate and money also got block but now I received a message stating-Dear customer, hold for Rs. 14,994.00 has been removed from account no.If not requested, please contact your branch-SBI
And it's also showing that due to low funds but i was having the amount for ipo and also my amount got blocked how can they remove the hold without my consent.
Please suggest.

Today i applied ipo in retail category for 1 lot in icicidirect, but the amount blocked is Rs 209916(SHNI lot) instead of Rs 14994. I have rcvd SMS also that amount of Rs 14994 is blocked towards Rishab ipo. Is there any way to unblock excess amount or i have to register complaint with icici securities.

Decent QIB demand diminishes chance of negative listing but don't expect big bang listing until some big player pump it up.
QIB application amount:
Concord - 21K CR(it was big size IPO as well)
Aeroflex - 13 K CR
Rishabh - 7.1K CR

Generally QIBs are buyer, NIIs are seller and RIIs are absorber and seller on listing day.

It should be mild listing and definitely not going to replicate Concord.
Concord has RJ name and Aeroflex has Ashish Kacholia tag and they provides attraction if the business and valuation are reasonable which is missing in this case.

I will be studying Jupiter for learning purpose and if QIB & Premium support them might get in for listing gain but valuation (P/E 66) is scary. Except valuation other aspects looks decent but valuation can't be ignored.

Yes same question from my side as well. 1 BHNI lot requires 10 lacs minimum. @Tejas Pandya & @GrayIsTheNewBlack applied 9 & 8 lots respectively. Which means 90lacs and 80lacs. What are the chances of getting allotment and if allotted then the Rate of return?

Jokes apart khud ka fund hai to hi aapko kuchh return milega.. IPO funding me charges vagerah itne zyada hai ki aapko IPO mile na mile charges 7 din ke lag hi jayenge..to aap kamao ya na kamao broker(fund) zaroor kamayega..

@an Investor Kuchh fix nahi hai Bhai yahan pe 9 application karne ke baad bhi kai baar haath me kuchh nahi aata..
