Much needed confidence achieved, QIB is 1.05 now, Overall 1.7, might touch 5 EOD. Mind you, this issue 3.25 times bigger than ITCONS, so it has garnered more subscription as compared to ITCONS already.

One of ResGen promoters, Karan Atul Bora, is also one of the promoters of Markolines Traffic Controls whose IPO came in Sept-21. Markolines issue opened at 20% discount, toggled in that range for 6 months before spiking, then bouncing up and down. Currently trading at around 80% premium to IPO price. Check it out -

This issue seems pricey too, may open at a discount which could be a good opportunity to buy lower for a medium term hold. Just a viewpoint..

@ Kapz , You pointed out very sharply. Yes same promoter of Markoline which listed at 20% discount. Same LM & same registrar too.

@svh, having read through the RHP and done a bit more research, there may be some opportunity in this one. Although I have been sceptical in the beginning, looking at Markolines patterns, I think there are some factors which may help this issue. Main points to note are -
- The company is operating in renewable energy sector, which is getting quite a bit of attention all across. Under ESG initiatives, may gain good traction.
- Originally setup as a start-up in 2018, named Eco Janitors ltd. renamed to ResGen in 2021. Given less than 3 years of operating history, it's perhaps still apt to qualify it as a Start-up. So, anyone investing should be looking at it as a Start-up investment which can go either way. That said, Start-up and ESG can be a potent combination in today's day and age.
- The management, although fairly young (MD 29 yrs, CTO 26 yrs), seems to have good backgrounds. MD - B.E. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Cardiff, UK and MBA from IIM Kozhikode. Senior Scientist in their team seems to have very strong experience in implementing Pyrolisis solution in India and UK.
- Pyrolisis - As a process, it's not something new and has been around for a while. But, it did not gain much traction because of costs involved and the output not being profitable enough. That said, it appears, ResGen has perhaps cracked a mechanism that is helping it become significantly more profitable, for which they have obtained a patent in India.
- Plastic recycling - Conscious effort is being made worldwide to recycle the plastic in the most effective manner, and converting it back to fuel may perhaps be the tone of the future.
- Carbon Credits et al - There are a few government schemes that will likely support in expanding their business footprint, especially for companies who would like to reduce their carbon footprint.

All in all, I think, if the execution goes right on this one, this may either be a very good hit or a very bad miss. Hence, my suggestion that any investment in it should be strictly looked at as a start-up rather than any mature SME. Given the kind of management background, I think this may turn out to be a very good hit and may give handsome results in 2-3 years.

Based on how the listing goes, I'll most likely be buying a few lots as an investment with high risk - expecting good rewards in due course. Hoping that the management does stick their neck out to make this a success.

1. We purged old 'liked' data and that's the reason you don't see if you go back a few months. This will not happen in the future as we now upgraded the process.

2. Your account was locked because of posts with external links (meeting invites). You have been identified as a PR agency supporting the IPO by our system.

We face spamming issues all the time and the major challenge comes from PR agencies hired by the issuer companies. Sometime we get false alarms. We will try to allow link posting to ranked members.

Thanks a lot for informing me the reason of blocking my account. I am not at all a PR Agency for any IPO to promote. I am active member from last 945 days and never done any activity to promote any IPO. Unknowingly, I shared a link, which I never thought that it was PR Agency link.
This is good for the knowledge of all the members of this forum.
I always draw attention of the members where some type of messages need not tobe posted in this forum. In future, in my posts, you will never identify me as PR Agency.
