20 IN THIS VOLATILE MARKET AT 350/- HOPE WE WILL COME OUT OF
LOSSES ONE DAY. WHEN THE MARKET AND PRICES WERE MADLY SOARING
HIGHER & HIGHEST, THESE BROKERS ADVISE US TO PURCHASE AND THEY FURTHER GIVE TARGETS. ONLY THE RETAIL INVESTOR WILL LOOSE.

IS CHIDAMBARAM & DAMODARAN WERE BOTHERED ABOUT THE IPO PRICING,
IS THERE ANY SCALING IN PRICING THE IPOs. ALL ARE JUST FORMA
LITIES, THESE PEOPLE LOADING THEIR POCKETS & PURSES WITH CRORES
OF RUPEES OF PUBLIC MONEY.

I was applied for 225 shares (Ril Power IPO), for this I got 17 shares, According to notice From Feb 1st you are givings refunds and todays dates is 12th Feb but
I did't receive my money back till now.

Could you please trace this and let me know the date to receive amount.

My application number is 56889947. I have not recieved refund order.Please inform me details.

17% down – first day. Quite a dismal show by Reliance Power. It started with a greymarket premium of 450+. It ended 78 Rs down. Retail investors feel cheated. But cheated by whom? Anil Ambani? QIBs? Brokers? Or all of them. Experts say the share was overpriced. One of the CNBC TV 18 “expert” (read udayan mukherjee) went on to say that he won’t buy this share at even 300 levels. They say NTPC is a better pick. NTPC produces energy after all, that too 28,000 megawatts. While Reliance Power doesn’t even produce a single watt, forget megawatts.

NTPC is down 35% since January peak. The experts (the same) do not mention it. They don’t hype it same as Reliance Power. They say power sector has lot of potential; still NTPC is down, for no reason. Does that mean the company’s fundamentals are weak? The reason that is given is global cues, market sentiments and stuff. But when Reliance Power is down, the reasons are: share is overpriced, Anil Ambani is a cheater, Company is not producing any energy and many more.

Agreed that Reliance Power was hyped. Oversubscription was good and record breaking in many senses. But it was hyped on the negative side too. Some big brokers were advising to sell on listing and get away with whatever one can get. QIBs sold too. Heavily. As if they planned to sell it on the listing day to make a terrible listing. Street talks suggested that 7 big QIBs’ lobby will ensure that the listing do not touch Rs 590 mark which is break even for HNIs. The rumour (if it is actually one) made HNIs sleepless and they were tremendous selling pressure. HNIs did not have any other option either. It seems that retail and HNI investors are being looted between two brothers’ ego and politics.

But when someone sells, someone buys. And those who bought today are not fools. It was all planned. Retail investors and HNIs sold and brokers, QIBs, MFs etc bought. The game was simple, create panic and advise to sell. You sell so that I can buy. The name Reliance attracts everyone. Brokers, Business News Channels and Big shots are making money on the loss of millions of retail investors.

Hope you are one of the smart retail investors who has not sold today but bought.

I have applied for 225 Reliance Power shares vide Application No. 72875986. I have alloted 16 shares and till today I have not received my balance amount. Kindly look into the matter.

I had applied for 225 shares and alloted only 17 shares but till date not refund made .. I not sure why they are taking so much of time in sending the refund through ECS.

Really not good....they need to speed-up the refund procedures.
