Hi All,
Now all of you are happy that the company has announced a bonus.
But have you wondered where is it coming from???
Smart Bhai Anil is pulling wool over every one's eyes.
This is like the person at the delivery counter asking you whether you want the pizza cut into four pieces or eight pieces.
Do you get anything extra by opting for 8 pieces???
Similarly if you had 100 shares of REPL and now after the bonus issue you end with an extra five shares(bonus ratio being 5:100)
what is your gain.The book value per share comes down but the total value remains the same because you have a few more shares.
Anil is not going to give you anything free from his pocket!!!

It is your own holding worth in the company that is notionally made to look bigger as in looking at a mirror or through a lens.

Any case rejoice that all of you are the recipients of bonus shares from a company that will have positive cash flows only in 2017.

Till then you can be licking at the sweetener that Anil has so magnanimously offered you.Cheer up.Jai Anil's ingenuity.

i have applied for Reliance POwer IPO I have allotted 16 shares but even today on 19th february i have not got back the balance amount refund .my application number is 57920201and my DP Client ID is 1202990005245518.also the customer care number 18003454001 is never found free as if it is a recorded message.i tried to contact customer care officer more than 15 times with no result.also i send 10 emails no reply.this is very annoying.i tried other teleohne numbers also but they too always say"busy".there is no way to contact theses KARVY people really surprising.i am also needing the money urgently.when I checked in their website for reliance power IPO status it is mentioned that despatch date as 2/2/2008 and asked to allow 10-CLEAR WORKING days ,after that also if one dont get the refund they advised to contact postoffice!!!!!

            so i had not alloted any share so how u refund my money. on your site there is msg "if client are not recieve their refund money within 10-15 days plz contact to registrar.and send a mail to reliancepower.ipo@karvy.com.
      plz check my status of refund money and reply as earlier.

reliance power IPO application No 64079235 refund not received in the staus enquiry it appears address not completly written as a result cheque might have returned advice karvy to mention correct address amd despatch

That means for every 100 shares held REPL is going to allot 5 new free shares.
