I really pity on guys like you. Till now God only knows when the IPO will come and nobody ever decided the price band. You like a fool asking at what rate it will be listed. one thing i dont understand, is the lack of knowledge or foolishness make people ask these kind of questions. When we read the posts here, it clearly says most of the people are greedy for money and want to make quick bucks.
wait for few days, sharekhan always take some days to make the status as executed sometimes it take as much as 4 days after the IPO is closed
I have used sharekhan.com for more than 30 IPOs in last 2 year , i faced problem only once ! when they entered my fathers name as the applicant so the refund check was issued in my fathers name :)
If applications are made from more than one demat accounts, than, irrespective of application amounts in each, both the applications are liable to be rejected.
The law is clear..."no duplicate applications". If the first holder is the same person in more than one demat accounts, than irrespective of names given for those accounts (for example, one a/c having initials only, other having full name), applications from both the accounts will be treated as duplicate accounts. Of course, if you give your name in different formats, give different addresses, and also give different PANs, then the authorities will not have the means to find out that the applications are duplicate. Remember, PAN has been made compulsory for demat accounts, both old and new, and this small 10 digit number is able to reveal all.
SEBI usually takes 4 to 4.5 months before the IPO is allowed from the date of draft offer document filed with them. (That too if the initial draft is approved.) Reliance Power was filed on 4 Oct 2007. So its any ones guess as to when it will be listed. Relax guys... long time to go.
Power is that sector which has very huge potential for growth in India. But they are restricted to set their profitability. That’s means very limited returns, apart form all these the power packs are zooming. So be careful while investing in power packs.
Somehow, I am not comfortable with Reliance Power IPO, though I will personally apply for it! Why not just continue with Reliance Energy? After all, both are in the same vertical market !
Will there be a Reliance Solar or Reliance Nuclear tomorrow?
My question to SEBI: Spinning off new company by splitting old ones, and make money from booming market. Is this ethical?
