My request to the Boarders always check this 122.161.108.244 Address with all my views on board as I never use any other Address and there are people on the Board who they believes in creating a mess on the board by using others names so this Address is the best tool to identify.

If my Assesment is not Wrong then it wont get a Oversubscription in Retail Segment more than 3 - 4 Times as the Issue seems to be a bit Expensive and the Return would be After atleast 4 Years. But if it would have been on the earlier figures as 2/- @60/- then the response would have been ?

Dear All,

Can anybody guess number of application expected in retail segment. In Powergrid the number was 12.48 lacs. This was the maximum in the last one year. In case the number of applicants in Rel Power is about 20 lacs I expect about 30 to 40 shares per application with maximum lot. If this is more then ut will reduce accordingly. Pl correct me if my obsevation is incorrect.
Thanks

This is for all Boarders please do not Apply for 225 Shares in Retail Category unless you get a clearification from a proper Source and in my views if you do not want to get your Application Rejected on Technical Grounds please Apply on 210 Shares at Cut Off Rates Calculate without Discount. I have seeked the clarification from the Registrar and Company itself but am not sure when they will reply.

i completely overlooked the lot size . I take 222 back and am saying 210. Thanks..... i cant believe i messed that up.
and i am not so sure abt rejection on over application. I am of the belief that it would just move from category of retail to NIB. but if you are so sure i could be mistaken. i will check it up.

but you do agree with me that we cant have 225 shares, as stated in all the posts here as it will cross 1 lakh? kindly reply.

Secondly a Retail Subscriber can never fall in any other Segment as he or she has to tick which segment he or she is applying in. He or she can get rejection on the grounds of the amount or number etc..........

Manoj you cannot Apply more than 210 Shares as the Lot is of 15 Shares
866. Manoj |   Link |  Bookmark | January 6, 2008 11:08:47 AM
ITS 222 shares as the classification of retail investor and non institutional buyer is done on the basis of total bid amount.
Total bid amount = 450(if applied cutoff) * no of shares

if no of shares is 222 then its 99900 but if you bid for 225 it will go over i lakh and get classified as non institutional buyer.

The discount is post allocations and it will ome with the refund if any.

DISCOUNT is POST ALLOCATION and classification of type of buyer is PRE ALLOCATION.

So please be careful for a mere 3 shares dont get classified into NIB because it would reduce the number of shares allocated. LIFE IS TOUGH AS A NIB :-) pls correct me if i am wrong.

to summarize all the discussions
1. you can apply with multiple DMAT accounts as long as the primary in each account is differed(read diff pan cards)
2. you have to apply for 222 shares only under retail as the discounts are counted later.
3. if you do a partial investment you cant sell on listing day. infact you cant sell till reliance sends out notice to pay up and then its processed. So investor go for partial payment and trader go in for full payment.
4. this IPO is too large and no cash flows till 2009. its over rated. but still the power matra is going on now and it will be oversubsribed. you can easily get 70% gain on listing itself, not by company balancec sheet but by sheer momentum.

Dear Navin,

Retail Investor can apply for maximum 225 shares after getting the discount of 5 percent and rate will be per share Rs 430. Mean to say, you have to pay for 1 lac application in Partial payment method Rs 25875 with price of Rs 115 per share and
for the full payment method have to pay Rs 96750 with the rate of 430per share.

Payment will be done after 21 days of allotment and 12 days after listing but u get the alloted shares in partial payment system in ur demate account after 26 days of listing the share in NSE and BSE.
