Hi All, I had a chance to see Mr.Anil Ambani TV interview saying his father created companies & it was not readymade. Though his statement was a good philosophy. Listing a company which not yet started it's first project offering 228,000,000 shares out of 260,000,000 shares without any pre IPO placements.(I guess retailers should have been given a chance to see the response from pre-IPO placement. But otherwise, since there is good craze among retail investors for investing in IPO & equity market, certainly there would be over subscriptions as well good listing returns, but retailer should be ready to phase the stock performance in the long run, the more risk is awaited for secondry market entrants.:(
I just got confused myself. looks like there are couple of manojs on the board :-) I was messaging so far under Manoj.. @prass - as i told you earlier i like the full payment better, but it depends if you have cash to block for 3 weeks (min)
rahul............ opt for partial payment.......................... Its good fot investors who dont have 100000 bucks still they can apply for full lot........... because in any ways one is not going to get shares worth more than 25000, beacuase the issue will be higly over subscribed.....
My broker has suggested me to Open as amany Demat accounts as possible even if using fake names (but make sure that address is same). He is suggesting me to open at least 15 demat accounts and apply Rs 25000 each to corner maximum number of shares. I suggest you guys to do the same.
I have already opened 5 accounts in my relative's names.
anybody will suggest what we have to do for payment option which one is the better partly paid or fully paid and if we pay partly then can we sell the shares on first day?
I had already posted this message in this forum (Ref No.822). I think still the picture is not clear to some friends regarding max lot (225 or 210). I am once again hosting the lines from RHP for clarity.
Some lines from the RHP on this .
” The Bid must be for a minimum of 15 Equity Shares and in multiples of 15 Equity Share thereafter, so as to ensure that the total Bid Amount (including revision of Bids, if any) payable by the Bidder does not exceed Rs. 100,000, net of Retail Discount. At the Cut-off Price, the maximum number of Equity Shares that can be Bid for by Retail Individual Bidders is 225. (Investors may note that Total Bid amount is not just the amount payable at application but the entire amount payable for the bid including the amount payable by Due Date for Balance Amount Payable) In case of revision of Bids, the Retail Individual Bidders have to ensure that the Bid Amount does not exceed Rs. 100,000. In case the Bid Amount is over Rs. 100,000 due to revision of the Bid or revision of the Price Band or on exercise of option to bid at Cut-off Price, the Bid would be considered for allocation under the Non-Institutional Portion. The option to Bid at Cut-off Price is an option given only to the Retail Individual Bidders indicating their agreement to Bid and subscribe to Equity Shares at the final Issue Price as determined at the end of the Book Building Process
Friends............. This IPO will be subscribed more than 100 times in retail section only.................... Beacuse one can apply fot the full lot by paying just 25% of the total amount that will be aprox. 25,000 It's sure one will not get allotment worth more than 25,000... So one who has 25000 can apply for a full lot................
Friends it is confirmed now as mentioned in the Red Hearing Prospectus a Retail Investor can Bid 225 Shares.
