Hey Mr.DK CALIFORNIA ..
No : 1069

You calculations are wrong .The Correct Maths is :

MAX LOT of 225 shares * Rs 430/- = Rs 96,750

PArt payment 225* 115 = Rs 25,875

i think this helps you.

Prince, First Holder information is important
1063. mmm |   Link |  Bookmark | January 8, 2008 2:11:09 PM
In refund check, they will mention bank a/c. no. which u hv provided in ur demat account even if u hv applied for IPO with other bank cheque. Demat Bank Account No. is important
1062. MMM |   Link |  Bookmark | January 8, 2008 2:09:32 PM
Dear Prince, if u hv demat a/c with 2 holders then bank account need not hv to be in the same 2 names. It can be single or joint. Bank a/c no. is important and not name or holders
1061. Prince |   Link |  Bookmark | January 8, 2008 2:04:04 PM
Dear Seniors
I want to know that If, I open a demat account Jointly like
First Holder : Prince & Second Holder is : Manoj, then we should required a bank account also in the name of Prince & Manoj.

Secondly, If we apply for an IPO, & we receive refund agst that IPO, then the cheque will be in name of First Holder i.e. Prince mentioning bank details Or both names i.e. Prince & Manoj mentioning bank details.

Please reply my query on urgent basis.

Thanks in advnce

For collection of 10800 Cr in retail in partly paid applications
about 45 lakhs dmat accounts required. The max no of applications received in recent ipo was in power grid i e about 13 lakhs. So I think no of max applications will be limited due to non availability of no of dmat accounts.Considering this I think only about 30 lakhs applications will be received in retail(partly paid) which translate in over subscription of about 10 times.Correct me if you think I am wrong
