As regards the issue of Minor Applying for ipo::

a) Reliance Power : Only Majors (i.e., above 18 years of age can apply) Since partly paid shares cannot be issued to minors, the issue does not allow minors to apply.

b) Future Capital ::: Minors can apply through legal or natural guardians as per Prospectus filed with SEBI

1093. Reliance |   Link |  Bookmark | January 9, 2008 7:55:18 AM
Whatever anybody says or rate this IPO... I have clear understanding...
Focus on the brand 'Reliance'. I am seeing this brand for more than 20 years... It alwyas beats the expectations... All reliance shares are making huge money for investors. I always recommend to go for reliance rather than any MF or deposits.
You get the share from IPO or purchase from secondary market... it will always give you profit atleast in medium term and long term.
RPL, RNRL are the classic examples.

1099 Arti,
Please reply my query that IPO refund banker will mention that bank account No. which I provided to DP. But, I want to know that the refund banker will issue the cheque in favour of First Holder suppose "A" OR they will issue the cheque in the name of " A & B ".

Thanks & awaiting reply

mr prince,
Demant account is normally linked with a bank account with common first holder name.
When a registar to the issue ask for the detail about your bank the DP will provide the detil.( All this things done on line now).
Based on the detail they will print your refund with first name and account detail as per the DP( i.e. bank name and account no.) All this thing are normally printed on a application form. Pl read that carefully

ganga,
You can hold as many demant accounts as you can. But you can disclose any one during your IPO appliction.
For the Joint application to be maintain as per your Demat account. If First name is A and second name is B the same sequence to be mantain while appling for IPO.Other wise share will not be deposited in the account.
For the joint holder only first name is considered for IPO.

So with differenct joint holder with common first name only one application can be done.

Hence in nutshell one person can apply for one appliction in IPO. Whether it is joint , sole or HNI or NRI etc.

There is no link with Demant or PAN NO.

For application purpose they are mandatery and you can have as many as you can. and you disclose whichever you like.
