Hi All,

Please take my advice... Don't put all your money into Raliance Power IPO blindly...Anil Bhai has not generated a single MW of power yet...This is just a hype....Instead go for some value buying...Think of NTPC, Powergrid, etc...

NO NTPC and POWERGRID? Then, NO POWER....:-)
HAPPY INVESTING!!!

Guys,

Instead of wasting your hard earned money by investing in this hyped IPO, why can't you buy buy some shares of NTPC? NTPC may appreciate by another 50% within a week's time.

NO ALLOTMENT, NO POWER, NO INDIA....:-)

sites are back up. For ICICI atleast they couldnt handle the load created by every DEMAT account having an allocation of 1 lakh min(in view of this IPO) this made their allocation of funds function crash :-)
anyway i applied for my full quota from ICICI. Hope it lists at around 800, so we can enjoy listing gains... fingers crossed

At 2:30 Retail portion is subscribed more than 0.25 times this
excludes the online bids (ICICI Direct, Kotak Securities.etc)
no need to worry it will be oversubscribed more than 4 times in retail go for full lot and part payment option

With the IPO going full tank, start looking at other options like Arvind Remedies & IQMS which are small cap stocks expected to give decent returns in medium term.

dont worry friends retail subscription will be from 4 to 8 times.thats for sure.apply in part payment.still 3 days 2 go.

Jyothi,

on the first day 0.25 times is great! it will get atleast 7-8 times on the last day. So no need to apply for full payment. U wont get more than 15K per application.

Kotak is worst I'm not able to apply for IPO i already applied from ICICI direct for my friend and wife account
1567. jyoti |   Link |  Bookmark | January 15, 2008 2:17:10 PM
Retail portion is subscribed just 0.15 times at 2.15 pm.
It may not get subscribed heavily in retail as the issue size is too big.
So apply in full paymentoption as part payment will not be able
to take the listing gains

Payment Method – 1
a) Only Retail Individual Bidders and Non-Institutional Bidders are eligible for this method. QIBs
cannot submit a Bid under this Payment Method.
b) While bidding, the Bidder shall make a payment of Rs. 115.0 per Equity Share, irrespective of the
Bid Price. Investors should note that the total Bid Amount will be used to determine whether a Bid is
in the Retail Individual category, Non-Institutional category or not, and not the amount payable on
submission of Bid-Cum-Application Form.
c) Under Payment Method-1, of the Rs. 115.0 paid while bidding, Rs. 2.5 would be adjusted towards
face value of the Equity Shares and Rs. 112.5 shall be towards share premium of the Equity Shares
applied for.
d) At the time of allotment:
1. If the amount paid by the Bidder is equal to or higher than the total amount payable (being the
Issue Price multiplied by the number of shares allotted, net of Retail Discount) by the Bidder
on the Equity Shares allotted to the Bidder, we reserve the right to adjust the excess amount
towards the Balance Amount Payable and issue fully paid Equity Shares only. The excess
amount, if any, after adjusting the Balance Amount Payable shall be refunded to the Bidder
(i.e., Refund = Total amount paid on bidding minus the total amount payable on the shares
allotted).
2. If the amount paid by the Bidder is less than the total amount payable by the Bidder (being the
Issue Price multiplied by the number of shares allotted, net of Retail Discount) on the Equity
Shares allotted to the Bidder, we reserve the right to adjust the excess of the amount received
12
from the Bidder over the Amount Payable on Submission of Bid-cum-Application Form
towards the Balance Amount Payable and issue a Call Notice for the balance.
3. The notice of the Balance Amount Payable will also be published in two widely circulated
newspapers (one each in English and Hindi) and a regional newspaper along with the
statutory advertisement for the Basis for Allotment.
