Naga, who told u that any retail investor going to invest full amount. 99% are going to invest in partial method and remaining 1% who are not aware of this option will invest in this.

JD, this will over sub by 6/7 in retail cat.

Is there any priority in allocation in case of Full Payment (say 225 * 430=96750) - please advise.
1650. JD |   Link |  Bookmark | January 15, 2008 9:02:44 PM

Then who the hell in the world will apply by paying entire amount as retail investors will not get more than one lot in IPO's like this.
1648. Sandeep |   Link |  Bookmark | January 15, 2008 8:59:47 PM

Excellant write up But i got more confused than ever we are retailers and are novice dont understand much about valuation my question is why are Learned wizards of finance like qibs are pouring billions of dolars in this issue? Markets are always ahead of fundamentals this time it seems little more ahead than usual both are likely to meet somewhere down the road take your own call Only time will tell us whether this much faith in Mr Anil Ambani is worth or not Nevertheless interesting info must have been reffered and given thought by finacial institutes befor applying in loads

#1658 : because I want to encash my invsetment as early as possible and want to take benefit of trading in secondary market which is heading lower. For that if I earn little less in Reliance Power, that will be OK. If interested, quote your price.
1641. Sandeep |   Link |  Bookmark | January 15, 2008 8:44:55 PM

Hello Friends,
How many shares we need to apply for using the option of partial payment.

Can you just let me know how to calculate?

I assume that we can apply for 22575 (I calculated this 210*430=90300 in this .25% means 22575) I am planning to apply through
ICICI DIRECT, Pls. some one help me how to apply using the partial payment option method.

Appreciated your help.

Thanks,
Avinash
