Lisitng gains totally depends on relaince and Future IPO ..
If by chance investore dont find listing gains for these IPO's than the piplined IPO will be be in a big mess.
Just have a look at Subscription figures of Cords Cables ..

Anyway you can take chance .. you can get listing gain, but good for long term ..

I am a software engg, M-Commerce is the next requirement of the software industry and On Mobile is supporting for that ..

Well you can invest, if you are not getting listing gain you need to eb prepared to hold long term ..

With Care
Shoeb

Hi Dont believe the false promises created by DPs like Geojit. They are utilizing the public's money and wasting their time. They promised to open dmat accounts before the reliance power IPO opens, but after collecting money from many people, they did not do as promised. many people have backed off without opening the account and they lost the opportunity to participate in the IPO. Dont believe such brokers like geojit coimbatore...Try to understand the situation that only our poor peoples money is being utilized. Dont give chance to such opportunists. They make money but what do you get people? THEY DONT REFUND YOUR MONEY THAT YOU GIVE THEM FOR OPENING A/C. WHERE DOES ALL THIS MONEY GO...THINK THINK THINK....Dont submit yourselves while others are trying to use you like geojit coimbatore.

ABC...
Final Retail Subscription of RPL IPO after stop payment of cheques is only available after allotment will be done.

Reliance power IPO which ended got subscription for 15 times on the retail side and so it will be firm allotment of 15 shares to all the retailers who had applied for 225 stocks.

The way how it has subscribed on the QIB and FII side the stock will list at 300 to 400 rs premium.

Grey market price is coming down still we can see some good return in the listing price, it will be a good return of investment. So DON'T go by grey market price.

The listing might happen anywhere in 2nd week of Feb.

If the fed reduces the lending rate then the dollar will fall faster. The US dollar in a banking collapse (which now seems inevitable) could go the way of the Argentina crisis.

This contagion effect could be felt in India too as this bull run was largely due to hot money coming in as FII inflows.
The domestic institutions in India like insurances, banks, mutual funds cannot support the fall beyond the certain point as they always hold a conservative valuations for the companies in india.

So be reasonably optimistic and whatever happens does happen for the good.
Lets witness it.

@Rajiv,
Hold Banking stocks with good results in the offing they would be the first to recover. No need to book losses if u can hold for around 6 months.

Guys power sector is now back where it belongs. So the so-called premium of 400-500 is passe. For small investors just hold onto to your allotments for long term for better results and if it dips below IPO accumulate. Mind you all this talks of Market will be back after listing is utter rubbish. The FIIs are still pullling out money to the tune of 2200-2500 crores per day. Thank your stars that DII and LIC are there to add some support or the 4500 level on Nifty is very much the possibility. Do not enter now, just wait and watch for the time being. If what someone had said is correct about CitiGroup, be ready for some rough ride.
