My application no.55613404,for 225 shares of Reliance Power.Thepayment for Rs 25875.00 was made through cheque no.512703
dated 16/1/08 of ICICI bank(multicity cheque).The cheque has been cleared. But no information about the allotment status while trying to know through Karvy.com.My DPid is 1304140001805825.Will anyone please me know about the status of my application and about the refund.

Reliance Power IPO allotment has already come in Demat Account, guys who cant see demat shares in their demat account have got no allotment. Mostly people have got 15-25 shares in retail segment

SEBI extends electronic clearing facility to 68 centres

MUMBAI: Market regulator SEBI on Friday extended the electronic clearing scheme to 53 centers of nationalised banks, making it easier for investors to obtain refund of investment in public and rights issues.

Investors can obtain the refund through the Eelectronic Clearing Scheme (ECS) facility from 25 branches of State Bank of India, 13 branches of Punjab National Bank and 30 of other nationalised banks, SEBI said in a circular issued to all registered bankers today.

Earlier, the ECS facility was provided by 15 centers managed by the Reserve Bank of India in major cities.

Under the ECS, companies can credit the amount electronically into the bank accounts of the shareholders, depositors and investors.

The facility would be available in addition to other refund modes like NEFT, RTGS and Direct credit, the circular said.
