@ANUJTAHLAN nowhere in SEBI guidelines, it says that allotment has to happen in multiple of application lot. Since I got allotted in non-multiple of lots, I can vouch for it

No one is misguiding anyone!! It''s just that some banks (mostly axis) debiting the amount of allotment or unblocking the amount on No allotment. And that happens 3-4 hours before the Allotment status is available for the public.

There is no relation of delay an oversubscription.
Almost all IPOs are getting ovesubscribed and it is publishing allotment on expected date.
