HELLO FRIENDS

REC IS A GOOD ISSUE N OF COURSE ITS A GOVT. ISSUE. SUBSCRIBED IT ON LOWER BAND I.E. 90. ITS PRICE BAND IS 90-105.

MOST HAPPIEST THING FOR INVESTORS IS THAT U WILL GET THE SHARES AT THE RATE OF RS. 90 BECAUSE ALL FIIS N HNI'S SUBSCRIBED IT AT RS. 90. SO BE HAPPY INVESTING.

SO ULTIMATILY U WILL GET ATLEAST RS. 15 ON LISTING.

DONT GO ON GREY MARKET , GREY MARKET SITES ARE A FRAUD SITES. JUST REMEMBER " RELIANCE POWER "

WHILE INVESTING JUST LOOK AT THE FUNDAMENTALS OF A COMPANY.

Dear All,
this is a governement of india enterprise in the field of funding for Power Projects in Rural India and have already earned 550/- crore profit upto Dec.07 and it is a financially strong company. Promoter of REC is president of India who is more responsible and reliable person than Ambani bro's. Since Fundamental of this company is strong and Price of IPO is attractively price, we should Apply for this IPO

since it is a government company it will fetch good returns and not like reliance power flop show, so a good ipo to invest in .

poor ipo to apply
overpriced
everybody will get full allotment
ambanis can protect their ipo with all their might
whos gonna support this ipo if it falls below issue price
can blindly buy pfc ,power grid at present rates
if u still want to buy shares of this company from sec market after the listing WHY TAKE RISK AND LOSE MONEY LET MARKETS STABILISE

Pramod, r u a new player in IPO? This is very silly question asked by u. Everybody should bid at cut-off price. If u don't hv money then keep urself from IPO
232. Pramod |   Link |  Bookmark | February 20, 2008 12:54:56 PM
At what price should i bid. Please help.
231. ambani bhai from mumbai |   Link |  Bookmark | February 20, 2008 12:19:58 PM
rec is good issue everybody agrees but what return it gives still leaves a big question mark ? when the budget is round the corner and premium still is in the range of 12 to 14 with no firm buyer in sight only fools will apply in this issue. When u can get this issue cheaply in secondary market why invest in public issue. One More big question is that mind u this is not small issue where operator can manage some premium as clearly evident from recent listing, this is 1600 crore issue with lots of allotment will be available to retail investors and after reliance debacle are anyone intered ? Hope retail will subscribe for a paltry gain of rs. 2 or 3 premium or discount

Hi Guys,
I think the Onmobile euphoria hasn't settled down as yet. What more we have REC in the offing which i think is available at very attractive price. do not expect 10 fold increase but yes 2-3 times increase in prices within 2 months of listing is pretty gettable.......happy investing
