It simple to understand. Fundmanetally, it is fully valued, if not over-valued around 260. During optimistic time, it may over-shoot fundamental level. Similarly, during pessimistic times, it may fall much below its intrinsic value.
While doing technical analysis, analyst do not give much importance to fundamentals. Generally, technical analyst & fundamental analyst are at logger-heads!
Technically, watch the target. Near each target (few Rupees near target) trader should book profit. If surpasses & closes above target, then fresh purchases can be done.
Similary, if it is showing weakness near target & if closes below target level, it could fall. However, as long as it trades above stop-loss level, it is BUY on declines. If breaches stop-loss level, it is SELL on rise until it approaches near support level.
Stock Price moves on the basis of demand and supply for the stock (even without fundamentals). Technical Analysis studies the “effect”, i.e. the price, without wanting to know the “cause” of the price move. By the time the fundamental cause of the price-move is known, it is usually too late for a profitable trade.
Once trend is identified, remain with the trend. Profits come when you trade long or invest on corrections during an uptrend and sell when the trend matures. Within a downtrend, you can also make profits by selling short on rallies. Currently, as long as it trades above sto-loss level, trend is bullish.
It is only a misconception that technical analysis is only useful for short-term traders. Technicals, in fact, enable us to look much ahead in future, examples of which are already given in Thinksoft, Cox & Kings etc.
Stop-loss is is at a level that would confirm change in the trend that you are playing for.
