First you need to have a DP & trading account with a broker. Then you can apply to an IPO either online or through a physical application. You don''t need any e-signature.
I have a Dmat account in HDFC bank..not through broker..and hey do u meant to say just apply 1 lot for 15000 and not to apply for remaining?..Thanks for the reply guys
reply to 296. 2, CAVARUN JI. : sir, I also know that allotment will not out before 30-8-16. but ipo does not cloae till now and some workless unemployed people asking. about allotment date. once you give true answer, they will ask. about listing date, then they will ask about listing price. YEH LOG YA TO GOVT. SARBANT HEY YA JOBLES PEOPLE, JO SIRF APNA TIME PASS KARNE KE LIYE BEVKUFIWALE QUESTIONS KAR KE DUSRO KA VALUABLE TIME WASTE KARYE HEY. ---->NOTE: ACTUAL ME IN LOGO KE PAS ALTMNT DATE, LST. DATE ETC. KI HUM SE BHI PERFECT INFORMATION HOTI HI HEY. LEKIN YEH TO AADAT PAD GAYI HOTI HEY. AUR LENA HO 65 SHARES AUR AISE ASK KARTE HEY KI JAYSE PURI COMPANY KA 100% HOLDING LENE NIKLA HO!!!!!!
you are absolutely right.in stead of such faltoo querries like allotment date, listing date etc we must concentrate about fundamentals and circumstances which may affect pricing of the IPO etc..may god bless them...
Three keys to understanding RBL: 1. CASA Ratio (Current and Savings Accounts Ratio): The CASA Ratio tells you what proportion of the bank''s deposits are comprised of low cost current and savings accounts. Other forms of deposits such as fixed deposits require a bank to pay higher interest rates. Ratnakar Bank has one of the lowest CASA ratios in India - a bad sign. Among 41 listed Indian banks (both public and private banks) only 2 banks (IDFC and Lakshmi Vilas) reported a CASA ratio lower than RBL. A high CASA ratio reduces the overall cost of borrowing as it involves deposits in current and savings accounts which have low interest costs associated with them. RBL relies on fixed deposits and market borrowing instead - funding 25% of its loans by borrowing from the market. 2.NIM (Net Interest Margin): Net Interest Margin is the difference between the rate at which a bank borrows money (from depositors, or the bond market) and the rate at which it lends money. RBL again ranks poorly when it comes to net interest margins. As many as 34 out of 41 banks do better than RBL on this count. RBL has NIMs of only 2.15% which is among the lowest in Indian Banking industry. 3.Non Performing Assets (NPAs): This dreaded term simply refers to the loans of a bank that have turned ''bad''. In other words, these are loans where principal or interest that was due has remained unpaid for more than 90 days.On this measure, RBL is among the best performers in India. Its Gross NPA Ratio, which measures these NPAs against the bank''s total advances, is a mere 0.98% - meaning that less than 1% of the money it has lent out has turned bad. This is the 4th lowest in the industry. https://www.valueresearchonline.com/story/h2_storyview.asp?str=31814
RBL is new, so it''s network is not established. This is the reason it has low current and savings account. Normal Customers are using RBL for fixed deposits and loan only. Less no. of customers using RBL for normal day to day activity like current and Savings account transactions.
As per RBI rule banks can''t lend more money from current and savings money. Banks can lend money from fixed deposits, bonds, qib etc. Banks can use savings and current money for normal day to day transactions. Banks needs to maintain CRR and other things on fixed deposits money not on savings and current account money. CASA ratio is not much important for new bank.
NIM is always low for new private banks because they need to attract customers with little high interest for fixed deposits. They have to pay higher than psu banks to build new customers.
Only important is asset quality. Means NPA. NPA is very low.
In Gujarat every cross roads, market have 4 to 5 co-operative banks or credit society. All founded in 1950s. Some co-operative banks have turnover more than some nationalized banks. RBL have very few branches and less turnover before 2006. It started growing from 2006. In terms of stock market it is new.

If there is sign diff of account holder then bank will not block the amount, but once the amount is blocked, then no worry. It is for the bank to verify the signnature.
