This time those who were not getting any allotment in last 5 to 6 ipo have got the allotment , and regular allots who used to get at least one allotment , in 5 to 6 applications did not get allotment

First time applied for single lot only. Got allotted 2 out of 2 applications.
Lesson learnt - Only apply for single lots

SanjayG you are lucky. coz there is no lesson even in applying 1 lot. it is pure luck or lottery system. coz i have been applying 1 lot in last many ipo. last issue i got allotment was ujjivan. from there i have bee neglected in following issues:

Quess Corp
Advanced Enzyme and now
RBL.

I would recommend to apply for 1-2 lots every time, as the probability of getting many lots allotted is very less so if you apply for 1-2 lots either you get 1 lot allotted or NIL. so if you get the allottment be happy else nothing to worry as you did not apply for many lots. Initially I tried applying for 10-12 lots but I used to get o allottments, this time I applied for 2 lots got 1 allotted :)

You will hardly see anyone taking about applying for 10+ lots and getting 8+ lots so it is wise to apply for 1 or 2 and we should not lose hope as even if any one of them clicks you will get 15-20% returns which is way better than what bank interest rates and safe investment where the potential downside is minimal.

Nothing wrong with link intime, if you din''t got allotment. Anyways you can go ahead and register a complain.

What I noticed is First come First service.
I applied for Advanced Enzymes on the last day of IPO. I was not allotted.
But for the RBL Bank I applied on the first day. I was allotted.
So better luck next time.

I had applied on first hour of the application, I got NIL allotment. I had applied on last day for Advance Enz., I got 2 :) :) :)

Kiran. there is nothing like first come first serve. as i said in earlier message I myself too applied in first few hours of first day where retail subscription was not even fully subscribed. so there is not first come first serve basis. you were lucky you got it. congrats and happy investing.
