I have one question.. I am applying via HDFC Securities in that using UPI that has my SBI Account mapped. I have not been allotted since long time.
I was going through my SBI Account and noticed my PAN is not registered there.. but it is registered in UPI and HDFC Securities.. So is it mandatory to have the PAN registered with BANK as well ? I am assuming maybe this is the reason I am not getting any alottment ?
@BabaBlackSheep In allotment page or email what do you see? Application rejected or not alloted? If rejected then it is possibly because of PAN issue.
And it is required to have PAN registered in bank not just for IPO but for many other things. Please get it done as soon as possible..
@BabaBlackSheep It's the basic necessity to mdp your PAN to all your financial identities as well as to Aadhaar. So, don't hesitate just, link your Bank account with PAN without delay. This may or may not be the reason for non allotment, but in future will face problems if not linked.
I have checked previous data.. I have recieved Alotment long back with same method.
And yes it is true that it is important to have the PAN linked, helps in availing other services. Its just that I found it today that my PAN is not linked.
@RAG Yes, sometimes the UPI/bank interface has technical issues. Observed, you wanted to apply through zerodha but ended up applying through ICICI Direct account. Here is a suggestion that you may try applying for ipo with your Zerodha DP using ASBA mode. Just log in to your ICICI net banking (not ICICI Direct), look for online IPO, fill particulars like CDSL account, zerodha DP and lo it will be done. Very simple process indeed. Good Luck 🤞
Dear CG members, I have recently opened a minor bank account in kotak bank and demat account in prostocks. Today I visited to kotak branch to add demat details of my minor son but they are not aware about it. Then I spoke to kotak customer care they said you cannot apply ipo from minor kotak account. Please help how to apply ipo from kotak asba in minor account.
@Ayank use prostock+icici bank minor account or hdfc bank minor account. After the account is open, you need to apply a pan change request to a minor pan number in the bank.
As far as I know, third party UPI allotment is an error or technical glitch actually; so you cannot rely if that actually works all the time. But other experts can join too in this discussion and throw some more light
Offtopic! ,I have questions kindly help. As you know BSE SME IPOs can't be applied through Groww app , if I apply through ASBA If I get allotment (There is very negligible chances) is it possible to sell via Groww or I will be stuck with it.
Kitna bhi FF strategy se apply kar lo, jiski Rashi me hoga, usi ko milne wala hai ye ab. Once funds for Apeejay are unblocked tomorrow, I am expecting big numbers coming in here
I'm not able to apply IPO's using my CSB Bank UPI ( csbpay ) through Zerodha or even with groww. When I want to select upi handle of csbpay, It is not visible.
What are the other ways can I apply for IPO's using my CSB bank account?
@dtrader You can use your banks ASBA option, if it is available.
Or you can use any UPI app, BHIM is preferable. You will have to register your bank Ac in that app then you should be able to apply. But i do not know if there are any restrictions for 24 hours after registration. If there are, then ASBA is safest option.
ASBA is there for CSB sir.. but it's limited to BSE only.. CSB Bank doesn't send applications to NSE. This year tried 4 Mainboard IPO's from CSB ASBA. But, not even alloted one.
Message coming for BSE that bid successful and Amount blocking in bank. But when I check my bid details in BSE. It's showing nothing sir.
So, I want to switch to UPI for some time. Will Install BHIM and Gpay or mobikwik.
Thank you sir 🙏 😊

@dtrader You may consider switching the bank as well.
Wouldn't it be better to bet on Redington India for PE expansion after the listing of Rashi peripherals. Considering allotment is going to be tough anyways.

@V Ramu Use the demat and bank account of same person, otherwise it will be rejected. Instead open demat for your brother also.

@Future Millionaire@sunil surat yes ZERODHA allows to sell shares from minor account… you cannot buy shares but you can apply for IPO or gift shares from parent… they started minor account opening if parent and kid Aadhar is mapped to same mobile number and parent have zerodha account…
@Future Millionaire Use prostock demat account, you can buy and sell shares (both). only intraday not allowed.

Zerodha has some new work on minor account. They sent the below link as notification recently. https://zerodha.com/z-connect/featured/open-a-zerodha-account-for-your-kids-and-invest-together
@sashah Will not work if parent(with zerodha account) and minor have different phone number mapped to aadhaar?

@Rajiv RR It will work just that you have to open a minor account through the offline process to apply. If Aadhar is linked then you can open the Zerodha account online for minor...
Seeing track record of Volrado Ventures from Anchor list, this could give good enough returns. Obviously, one parameters among many, but nevertheless, confidence boosting.

sabko jyada profit chahiye.. 15000 ki application me 20% mila bhi to kya maza.. sHNI me direct 40k milenge.. Although allotment chances retail me hi jyada hai par ultimately luck based hi hai.

i think most of SHNI investors are retailers only because luck hai, mila toh 2L ke share milenge aur profit bhi GMP ke acc 40k ban jayega this thinking might be the reason SHNI gets a lot of attention irony is SHNI category has the least allotment chances and also shares available for SHNI are the lowest
I also upgraded to SHNI CATEGORY. There is nothing left on table in retail category. Twice in a year we get allotments In SHNI it get compensated fairly.
