Stoploss triggered at 475Rs , as expected. Volumes dried up and it fell sharply thereafter. Warned about lack of bulk deals, and high selling pressure. To those who are holding, good luck. I pray for best.
This will take a long time to recover now, IMHO. Literally MANY bluechip and undervalued stocks are available in discounted prices. Sell, hold cash. Wait for LIC listing and nifty correction. Invest in those bluechip and undervalued companies instead.

The selling pressure is from the HNI category, who got higher allotment than expected. QIBs are silent here & not supporting. You can expect the price to remain lower than the IPO price for first few days.
If you can hold for a month, you can expect to make decent profit as the fundamentals of the company are good. QIB has shown interest in the company and that is the indicator of fundamentals of the company being good.
Do not panic. Already 93 lakhs shares exchanged hands. Another 40 lakhs more might be there to be sold by the desperate HNIs who are short of cash. If you show patience, you will reap rewards.
1) Wait for the stock to move from weaker to stronger hands. 2) There was not much retail participation in this counter, so this selling pressure cant persist. 3) Once the weaker hands are off and done with, will leave the big players to play this stock. 4) This seems to be playing similar to the recent IPO - Metro Brands 5) Seems to be finding good support around its VWAP price, around the 500 mark so far
On a lighter note the season of rainbow is yet to come and we know it will happen soon.
Tega had 200x+ QIB, it trades below it's ipo price and had a sharp fall after listing. Look at where Zomato, PB fintech, Cartrade, GLS and Windlas are today compared to their listing day prices. These are what I just remember from back of my mind atm. Plenty others as well.
High QIB could often indicate good listing gains, but not always (Windlas, Cartrade, GLS). And even if they do give listing gains, be sure that it may or may not sustain (PB Fintech, Zomato and Tega).
This is why your own research matters. QIB subscription rate isn't a judging criteria by it's self.

In my opinion, listing price range can be around 540 to 560. Here all 35% retailers got full allotment and HNI also got enough allotment and some more than expected. So new demand will be less from retailers and hni and there may be selling pressure from them, so mostly depends on QIB, how much they come for new buying as their subscriptions were decent. This ipo is good for longer term in my opinion and it should grow well (may not perform like apollo hospital but still should do good) But in short term market conditions will matter most so better to book profit or partial profit for short term if getting some 8-10% gains tomorrow or in few days and later someone can enter again if price going down. Markets are still not recovering and global markets are going down, so tomorrow nifty levels may also affect listing here unlike campus, so if its discount listing then hold to see how its going during day and then try to exit if getting price above issue price.
@lokes sir are you holding rainbow or sold it with loss? Do you think it will to come to its issue price in near term?

@Ram kariya: i am holding for now but i will book partial loss if it come around 510-520 in some days.....since as i mentioned in other message it will be tough for it to cross 540 in short term. In my opinion, retailer should book loss here above 510-520 itself as it will be smaller loss , without waiting for 540 (as tough to come) , to avoid loss increasing. More tough time for HNI's here with big allotments who cant hold for longer too. My current total loss here will be compensated by my campus one account half profit itself but still i will sell rainbow partially only above 500 around, but i just hope, it won't go more downside levels than current, else it will be tough situation for everyone.
9/9 allotted to me, holding all. The money will be used to improve the bottom line of the company. It seems that in long run this will give good value.

People have applied in IPOs where he rated as 'AVOID'.
Before applying you should do research about market conditions and demand/supply.
Its not necessary that you apply just because everyone else is applying, ignore /skip if you are not convinced. Wish everyone luck here in RAINBOW, btw this not the season of Rainbows 🙂, *I hold 3 lots of Rainbow. Either it sinks or float, we all will see in due time.
Don't think it will touch issue price very soon! There shall be huge selling pressure whenever it comes nearer to issue price. Day one flop will remain a flop in majority of cases though there may be exceptions
