Sebi circular - THIRD PARTY APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED BY REGISTRAR

The Registrar to an Issue shall undertake third-party verification of the
applications BY MATCHING THE PAN available in the demat account with the PAN available in the bank account of the applicant. IN INSTANCES OF MISMATCH, SUCH APPLICATIONS SHALL CONTINUE TO BE CONSIDERED AS INVALID applications for finalising the basis of allotment

Several members here often raised queries on 3rd party applications. SEBI seems to have taken up the issue of 3rd party applications seriously in the interest of small investors. Circulars dated 19th August 2023 enclosed.

Clauses 5 & 6 state that, henceforth banks will give complete bank account number and linked PAN number and upload. Registrars will match each application PAN with Demat PAN and discard unmatched applications as invalid. The activity chart further mentions that registrar will match day wise applications in ASBA & UPI to remove all 3rd party applications before nest day 9.30 AM to forward only valid applications for allotment.

BSE in yesterday's circular has arranged mock IPO sessions on 16th September 2023 for all banks to check and upload account number with PAN, wherein registrars too participate to verify the system efficacy.

By invalidating 3rd party applications, honest retail investors with limited resources will benefit.

Uski baat me koi bhi aisa word nahi hai except dark horse as hard word, aap bindass apply karlo agar aapko white horse lagta hai to :)

Bhai, mankind is very good company, good margin, top play in it's class.
RRKabel , profit margin very low, not top player like finolex, polycab etc, generally trade in B2B segment due to this margin very low, and OFS not much impact on company......

Even a share like TVS Supply Chain didn't open in negative, this should at least give 8-12% returns on listing. We can also see buying from Institution which may set off selling pressure. Good company, good sector, except the valuation no big worry.

Low risk, low reward.

I'm sorry, please don't apply based on theory that TVS didn't open in negative. There are many good IPOs which were profitable but still open in negative. And, there are many IPOs whose financials were -ve but open quite +ve.

Listing happens on many parameters so be cautions.

​@Krishna T Totally agree with you. I just mentioned one aspect, market cannot be predicted, anything can happen. Will take the risk considering low risk, low reward.
