Apply thorugh ASBA, why go with UPI

In that same case i got 1 allotment in this ipo.

Hello all experts,
I have two demat account with two different PAN as well as different bank account. But, both bank account are linked with same mobile number and thus, have same upi id.
If I apply two application with same upi id however, have different bank accounts THROUGH DIFFERENT DEMAT ACCOUNT. Will both application be valid or not ??

there are 2 ways,.
first is go for ASBA instead of UPI.
2nd is -- if you want to go with UPI only, then register your 1 account with BHIM UPI and 2nd account with Google pay. there you will have 2 different UPI IDs.

@Bullrunner, in this case my both application have been rejected, that's why I have doubt for the same.
Still I believe if two application have the different PAN and the different bank account, both will be valid.

I have applied through ASBA of both banks & got 1 allotment in Pyramid.

If two application applied through different demat accounts with different bank account but having same upi id of the two bank account, are they valid?

try phonepe you will get unique upi id for each bank and its working fine.i have got allotments in both accounts

In BHIM app you can create two upi Id's.

It's not possible... Two different bank accounts with different PAN numbers although having same phone number linked... Will surely have different UPI id.. u can create more IDs also... Use gpay for the same

How can 2 bank account have same UPI ID ?
So if I use your UPI ID as receiver to transfer fund, which Account will be credited ?

@Basuvr it is possible ,2 bank account can have same upi I'd. Amount will be credited in default bank a/c.

Under sec 272B of IT Act ,a penalty of 10000 /- is liable to be imposed in case of having more than one pan card. It may be extended to imprisonment, if any benefit has been enjoyed with the unlawful use of it.
So, it is a boon in disguise that he has not got any. However , he should immediately surrender the superfluous one.

Instead create upi ids with name. Or Gpay, it will different ids for each bank.
