Congrats @rohiitian ! Can you pls help to understand how this calculation works? I will try to understand the BoA for this issue once available. However, is there any thumb rules that works. TIA

​@IPOFreak Basic idea is similar to SME IPOs - each lot size goes into individual lotteries. In Mainboard, all lotteries have same probability so generally there's limited value to applying larger lot size.

But a lot size enters lottery if there is atleast as many applications as half the overall subs. In this case, since the issue oversubscribed 7x, any lotsize that has atleast 4 applications will enter lottery. So if you are the only one applying 4 lots from a particular lot size, you will definitely get allotment.

How are you saying it is oversubscribed 7x?

​@Pangaj Don't be like me BHNI if oversubscribed only gets shares worth 2 lacs if allotted on an application of 10 lacs. So, 10 lacs / 2 lacs = 5 and if BHNI subscribed by 35x, it actually means 7x only.

@rohiitian if 5 more 86 lots applied means(total -10 apps with 86lots) two persons gets allotment?

​@Pangaj Don't be like me No, it has to be 11 applications to get two allotments i.e. application should be more than 1.5*7x

​@Pangaj Don't be like me Not necessarily this works in mainboard, as if you see BoA of Mukka, applicants in BHNI which belonged to less than half subscription of overall were allotted as well.

​@MuStrFc It did not work in Mukka Protein because registrar has done wrong in the allotment process. All the bids were not given equal opportunity to be selected. At one lot size, even 1 out 13 has been allocated however, at couple of different lot size's, 0 out of 13 have been selected. I think this need to be registered in the SCORES portal..
